I think live service games, if done correctly and appropriately, have potential to be great. I’m not exactly for or against it, it’s more of just if you’re going to implement it then do it right kind of deal for me. Pretty plain of a response but that’s just my deal. Another note: good work on the video man keep it up!
I share that opinion. Live service games have a higher potential to foster communities and give players endless amounts of entertainment. However they are frequently misunderstood or abused by developers/publishers, hence the large amount of failures. We just have to be smart consumers and judge each game on it's own merits.
