Then Theo recaps a disastrous Single Mom’s Night Out, and calls the guy who nominated the single mom for San Francisco. They then takes some responses for Will, the 22 year old that was feeling down about knocking up his 19 year old girlfriend, including one from friend of the podcast Jocko Willink. Theo then tells a traumatic story from his childhood, and closes the show with an impromptu call with a second single mom that came out to the show in San Francisco.

Unfortunately, I think that guy was well intentioned. Impossible to know, but it was a little tough hearing someone that's clearly a fan, go from being excited to embarrassment. Sounds like that guy was also taken advantage of.

Even Theo admitted that he should have shown up for the dinner - I thought that was a big part of these events, to spend time with the single mom before the show. I think he's stretched too thin and exhausted.

Hey Theo- My guess is that mom from SF was irked she couldn't meet u prior 2 show & so she went to dinner thinking "well I'm gonna order whatever I want", likely not aware of "how much" it would total. Got lit, went to show, booze isn't her friend, and she's ducking calls because she's embarrassed of her behavior? Just my take on it. Who knows maybe the lady she was with thought you were a racist & it wasn't the mom at all. Either way, dust it off bro. Not everyone acts their age or is as deserving as others. Theo, this is just another reason you are such a gem! Instead of just throwing some humor at that caller who got his girl knocked up, you passed the call on to jocko who had some personal experience and advice for this young man. Keeping that brotherhood message alive and well!! More dudes should be following this model. Look out for eachother. Lift eachother up. Threw humor, threw sincerity, threw advice. No matter what you are going threw, there is always someone who's out here going threw the same thing, or has been threw it before. It gives meaning to the struggle.

You said it yourself already....the whole point of you doing these things for single moms is a way for you to give back to your own mom who your relationship with has been a huge source of pain for you...so when someone conducts themselves in this way, maybe it affects you deeper, and triggers a hurt place where you are still angry with your mom. I know it sucks to be taken advantage of in that way, but bro, if I got a call like that from my favorite comedian, that would totally ruin my fucking day. It wasn’t that guys fault...Maybe in order to protect yourself a little more, just send the moms a fuckin gift card and tickets and leave it at that.
