@@RealPizzaWishesto be fair it's more so an evolution of the original plan they had for him to use no transformations. Now here he just gets an add on to his moveset
I love how Vigilante just pulls a bunch of gadgets as power-ups to replace transformations. It really fits him considering that's exactly what he does through his boss fight.
I'd like to sincerely apologize to the Scoutdigo crew because as much as i liked the mod at first (it was one of my first PT modded experiences) i eventually forgot all about it as newer mods came out and eventually never really bothered to return to this since it'd be a while ever since new content would be dropped onto it. BUT HOLY DAMN, I have never seen such a magnificent playable Vigilante in my LIFE, the fact that he uses weapons INSTEAD of transformations and stuff is so awesome and HE LOOKS SO FUCKING COOL DOING IT TOO!! LIKE, A KATANA? BOMBS?? HE USES HIS GRANDPA AS A STAND BECAUSE HE TAKES AWAY HIS PISTOL?!?!? I love it so much, it further gives off the ''powered up weak enemy boss'' that Vigilante exudes, the fact that he doesn't go for transformations but just gets new weaponry added to his arsenal, he ain't just being tossed around like Peppino, or going along with the madness like Noise, he's legit just taking the level gimmicks and going in an entirely new direction with them and it's so fucking cool- IS THAT A BATON? In the robot level? IS HE COMMANDING THE SAUSAGE TO CHARGE?? *ROCKET FIST?!?!* Y'all are insane, Vigilante fans are gonna eat good once this version drops.
I think the vigilantes rocket fist tv screen should show when the vigilante is rocket fisting and not when hes idle, but thats my only complaint, everything else looks really great.
4:25 I like how you made his grind rail sprites unexperienced, unlike say Peppino or Noise. I feel like thats a nice character trade off, showing Vigilante isn't much a parkour enthusiast and doesn't particularly excel at it, or thats just my thoughts atleast.
Pizzelle being removed makes sense. Originally it was to pad the roster with a popular fan character but there's plenty of real work that should be done to bring canon characters to life.

If Mc Pig won't make playable Vigilante himself, he might as well let others implent it. If Mc Pig gets enough money, he might as well hire modders for updating PT, like Isaac devs did it. Because holy hell, i was amazed that Vigilante will have transformations.
From what i could see we are getting: Festive enemies in strongcold(noise boss from the christmas build might be back) All levels from the arena mode turned into levels A toppin prision mimic 1:38 Noisette cafe(where we will be able to buy moves and maybe death mode) New transformation 1:55 Fake gustavo? 2:05 Meatball is back 1:20 The cannon seen at 1:23 might work as donkey kong cannons New floor is called fight club New enemy 1:13
I thought I'd much prefer transformations over the items but the execution (especially the sprite quality) is so impressive I honestly don't even mind. The only thing close to a complaint I have is the oddity of giving him arms in some of them.
I remember how in the original Vigi mod, there were no power-ups with all he needed in his kit. It was a good concept, but man is this just infinitely better with new weapons instead.

I love this. I thought Chef's Kiss Vigilante was good but this... this is peak. If he has the ability to bounce off of walls while diving, this is the best mod I've ever seen.
WOWIE! You lads not only made The Vigilante playable, but The Noise too!? You lads truly do it all! On a more serious note, The Vigi's transfos look like they kick ass. I understand the changes and am glad to see the progress, can't wait for the grand release!
I’m excited for this mod, everything looks incredible, the art, the levels, vigilante, and the new gimmicks. I’m hoping you could get in contact with the round two team so you could also get pepperman but that’s probably not going to happen but it’s fun to think about.
Super promising devlog! I really enjoyed the retooling of the transformations into new, visually distinct weapon upgrades for vigi. I am very excited for what is to come! On a side note, is there a separate release for the music used in the opening sections? I would like to listen to it on its own.
