Hi Everyone, I hope you're having a great week! Thank you so much for watching and remember to 👍 this video if you want to see more! Let's hear those horse name suggestions!! 💙Laura
The first Greek god of horses was Pontus, and yes, Poseidon was actually the Greek god of the sea and horses, but and Pontus 🐎was the first one before him.
ZEPHYROS----- GREEK god of WEST- wind who in the shape of a horse, drew the chariot of Zues.... PRAGMA -greek word for enduring love ..i always name my things people names lol i call him anthony or some other a name but you pick really cool names so here are a couple of ideas
I searched "famous horse names from Greece" and this website came up, lots of ideas: pethelpful.com/horses/20-Names-for-Horses-From-Greek-Mythology If you pick Chiron, the ch is a hard k sound.
Just wanted to say - as a person who is 70 and has owned a lot of the pieces you pick - your style is impeccable and your staging is so classic. Your filming and editing is so appreciated, along with your enthusiasm.
I'm 78 & you have changed my attitude Laura. I would find beautiful things thrifting & not get them because I didn't "need" them. Well, that has changed & I am enjoying your videos & my thrifting. Your editing, music & enthusiasm is wonderful. I have probably watched all your videos & even re-watch them. Thank you so much ❤️. Nancy
My grandma had one of those lockets in the 90’s! She had six daughters, so my aunts and mom bought it for her and put their pictures in. I would have kept it for sure, just for the memory of her. 💗
I think you're awesome and I love watching you. Thank you so much for the entertainment value that you bring, and that horse was just gorgeous, I don't blame you for being extremely excited about it.
You could give him the name " Ajax" . That's the hero of the Greek Trojan saga, in which a giant wooden horse played an important role as a hiding place for the invaders. .
Laura, totally hooked on your channel, can't get enough. Liv in the UK , adore mid century modern and forever hunting for my next treasure. Take care and keep posting xxx
Hi!!!! I'm from Greece.I'm a vintage lover too and of course a big fan of you!!! We have a great myth from ancient Greece about a huge horse... It's name was "ΔΟΥΡΕΙΟΣ" (Dourios)
Went thrifting for the first time this year today. I saw a Kosta Boda candle holder and thought "I should get it for Laura!". I found my fairy lamp too!! For some reason, the name Prospero jumped into my mind for your fab find. Looks like you had a great haul!! 🎉
We have fun naming our forever finds! Especially hubby and his old clocks. They have such personality and he bonds with them when he brings them back to life:) While I love finding a good deal on a resale item, I get extra excited when I find a forever piece for a great price.
I’m finding myself loving your mid century astatic more and more‼️ I’m more of a traditional person, in my 70’s, with a home full of mahogany, sterling (love all metals) and collections of family heirlooms and special “things” I’ve picked up
I recently moved from Scappoose to South Carolina. The Goodwill's here are really bare and hardly locate any good finds. They have very little and are very unorganized. However, the stores here do not use any black markers or white chalk markers on items. I found it nearly impossible at times to remove it from items. I had a space in the St. Helen's Antique Mall you visited. I really miss it all! Love your videos and keep finding the good stuff!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! That HORSE! BEAUTIFUL! so glad you found it, i live vicariously hahahaahahah! LOVE IT so much, and so glad youre the one that found it! its like it was meant to be!
Either my tablet or my eyes, but did I see an "orb" flit across her when she opened that coat ?? ....which looks fabulous with that valentino purse btw.
Hi. Love love love the horse! I want to thank you for inspiring me to find my style I love. I live in New Zealand so there are some things that are hard to find in the shops over here but I'm enjoying looking. Take care.
Laura I know how much you love Lisa Larson animals. Crazy Lamp Lady has 3 cats on her EBAY page to auction off. One I think you already have. Hope you get them. Good Luck. Love watching you search for special finds. Love that Horse.
Girl you inspire me so much to keep hunting every time I see your videos. I just wish the thrift stores here in San Antonio Texas were loaded like yours stores are 😩
Aww I’m sorry they aren’t. How are the flea markets in Texas? I was supposed to go to the Canton flea last spring. Hope to make it there later this year 😁
@@leftcoastrevivals your are too sweet! The flea markets aren’t the best but Canton I hear is amazing. I’ve never been but was doing some research on it and was blown away. I hope you make it this year that would be really awesome. It would be nice to meet you, I love your channel. I love your style and you are so talented from your decorating skills to your jewelry making. Thank you for the inspiring videos ❤️
The horse was beautiful!! I'd also like a water fountain for my house but I have a feeling it would turn into the dogs water dish!! I see the kids turning it on so the dog can get a drink lol love all your scores and I love your style!! Also Xanthus is a Greek horse of zeus !
Aww - your mood was so cheery! 🥰 what a delightful addition to the day! Congrats on your horse find! He is so cool and so you! 🙌🏼 It was meant to be. ❤️ Those last two shops looked very appealing! Aww 💔 dang that brass urn had a broken handle because I was LIVING for it 😍😍
Can you do a playlist of your favorite shops in Oregon? I’m in Douglas County, Oregon and haven’t found very many that are good near me but would love to go on a thrift trip maybe this summer if things with the virus clear up!
That horse is my favorite thing you've ever bought. I hope it shows up prominently in your new home. I am dying for the home tour. Is that going to happen soon?
"Centaur" half man half horse 🐎. The initials on the jacket could be the owner, it looks custom made. Great items, as usual!💟 you had a round vase like that a couple months ago.
Call your gorgoues horse Heroz can't remember what it means in Greek. But his a stunner why not😍loved your haul another wonderful episode. You picked up some great stuff. Love em👍enjoy your week. ❤️☺️
The ceramic horse was my favorite thing this time, you have the very best Goodwill and Antique shops. What do you think about the name Atlas, it means enduring.
Great finds Laura, and I loved the way you style all your treasures. Are you moving out of area when you sale your house. It should sell quick especially with the way you have it decorated. Looking forward to the next video.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
During the days when I was buying and selling, it seemed like the ugly things I bought were the most valuable. They were usually the quirkiest. I have a cute little shed that has quite a bit of the things I kept in it. I’m going to find them a new home as soon as our weather warms up here. Love your videos.
Just call the horse TROJA, because it looks like the (estimated) Trojan Horse. BTW: excellent editing and background music, Laura ! Keep up your great work ! Greets from GER, U.
I just found you on youtube...yay me! I am in London, England and unfortunately, thrift stores are closed as we are still in lockdown; so I shall live vicariously through you! :-)
Being on the West Coast gives you an advantage in finding wonderful artsy pieces! I live in the south where antique shops sell anything of value for very high prices.
Hello Laura!! You had a very successful day thrifting! I thought that last year you had set-up a Vintage Booth at an Antique Mall in your area! In your video you indicated you no longer had your space. Was it just too much with your business & prepping your house for sale? I was in an Antique Mall for several years & should of probably got out sooner but I held on to the end when the building was sold & became a Farmer's Market. There are so many names suggested for your amazing horse you should pick your top 5 & have your subscribers vote on the name. It would be fun & something different! The Antique Shop the owner invited you for a visit had some great finds especially jewellry! The music you chose for your video was perfect 🎶🤩 Patty 💕🐥🐰🐧 Alberta🇨🇦🍁
Great eye as usual! Why are the buttons on your coat not aligned. It looks like two were moved over? Also, those boots are amazing but too high in the heels for me! Good catch!
Love your shows!💛 I enjoy the music too! I keep your shows running in background, they make me happy. And glancing up to see a goodie find-yea! Your voice, everything about your shopping experiences are special. You are uber positive..God Bless You💫💯
Hey, Laura- on crazy lamp lady (glass is her specialty) she gets a point every time she finds praying hands; you are gonna have to make yours penguin buckets🤓. Ps. She just scored2 L.Larson’s today. Elizabeth

Hi Laura! I so love your creative style, video talent and sunny personality!. I come back to your channel again and again. I recently thrifted an amazingly intricate eagle head bust and tagged you in my Instagram video post. Your Trojan Horse should be named Homer because he is mentioned in Homer's Odyssey...... 🙏Tiffany 😊💞
I screamed when you showed that Bean pot. I had that same one 30 years ago and it was an antique then. Somewhere along the way I parted with it and hopefully it has a good home. Alogo for the greek horse name, which means horse in Greek.
Hi Laura , your Valentino bag is very attractive, good design will match with your out fit & matching boots, you know how to dress up, you look pretty with what ever you wear- Tampa FL!
The donut shape is a old time canteen , would have had a stopper of some kind . It would have been to hang on the horse saddle horn. Working in the field.
