My good friends from New York stay at The Goring each time they visit London. Its the ONLY hotel they will go to! I can see why. Just beautiful! Bravo Mr. Goring and your team.
great hotel i worked there over 10 years.goring family are so lovely and great to work for.but the management are not the same. staff are treated bad managers are so mean to staff .that why to many left even some of them who worked for long time .left without notice.i hope mr Jeremy goring will look after his staff and not to lisen to the management like his dad use to do .his dad was so close to the staff
When I stayed there in 1994 I remember the staff as very respectful and courteous. Save for one in the restaurant who was a bit of a racist. I couldn't care less; I was enjoying my second trip to London my next fav city post my own😊
It could also mean you are Welsh and/or in Wales if you wake up with a sheep in your bed, lots of other possibilities other than being at the Goring London Town.
And 'apartment' rather than 'flat' (4:23) and 'a hotel' rather than 'an hotel' (0:08). Otherwise, mildly, but only mildly, amusing. The piano stunt was predictable, of course.
I stayed there some time ago, in the middle of the afternoon I got a call from a very impertinent lady on reception. "Are you smoking in your room?!!" she enquired. As I have never smoked i responded "No, not me, sorry". The reply was a very insolent "Are you sure?". Lazy so - and - so, couldn't even be bothered to come up stairs and knock on the door to see if I was smoking. Not often I get utterly p*issed off with hotel staff but on the occasion......
@@mscott3918 I loved this. Some yrs ago, someone here in Penticton Canada looked up his family tree. Showed me some of the results He is a decendant ,apparently and traced his history to this Goring family. His great great great or more grandad was presented to Charles the first. On the day London bridge reopened after the big fire.. this was because he was 102yrs old And looked younger. I saw a copy of him, a napper looking man, top hat fancy cane, apparently his occupation was listed at that time as a tailor,. But. He was also a Highway man and made money this way under cover. Had many children. And at least two wives. Certainly nothing to do with Hermon Goring. Seeing this motivates me to look for the information shown me then about this family, which was traced to this orig owner.
@@mabear9238I neither have a 'chip' or 'am sad'. I think one should be allowed to Express their opinion without being put down! I'm aware you have taken my view in this way and I respect your opinion. Best wishes!
