Hi I was just now thinking about what he says about put a foot where there's a foot and I where there's an eye and I was wondering what you think he meant? I understand about making the two into one you know what I mean balancing male and female getting beyond gender naturally but what do you think he meant when he said about the eye and the foot just curious thanks

Try this: In the 4 canonical gospels, do not read the narrative, just read the red letter words of Christ.

You can only use one, but if your heart is truly seeking him, he will show you everything else just go into it and not think about how difficult or misleading. It may be because you shouldn’t be worried about that. I think the point is that what really creates problems for us is what we say. We each have our own beliefs, but I don't see how our food creates any spiritual problems, unless having a big belly is a spiritual problem. It's important that the heart is clean vs just outer observances.

Food is deemed kosher by men. Food is deemed non-kosher by men. Food is just food. Food is neither clean nor unclean. What you eat goes through your system, nutrients are pulled and the body then eliminates the waste. Only thought (your heart/mind) can be bad. From your thoughts come your words. Nothing OUTSIDE of you has power over you. Unless you let it have power over you.

I think the key word here is “ in My way “ if your parents were to teach you that the things against God drinking, porn, money the things of this world that blind you to who you are and where you come from, maybe is what He talking about. And whoever does not love his father and his mother “in My way “ will not be able to be a disciple to me. Maybe He is saying that the parents who teach your children of Christ teaching’s are the things to love them for. But My true Mother gave me life, I don’t know for sure but Jesus must be talking about the Holy Spirit, and notice the little things in the sayings the word Mother is in capital letter and the other ones are not, I hope this helps a little and I’m only taking a wild guess at it. The Gospel According to Thomas is the gospel Matthew is talking about and the book has to do with the ones who go through the book of Revelation

Jesus quotes the Living Word of the Father, who is living within ALL of us(and Jesus) which makes Jesus both the perfect embodiment of the Inner Child(the Word)and the spokes person for God(the Word). So Jesus isn't really talking. God is talking and Jesus is His mouth piece. John 14:24 "He who does not love Me will not obey my teaching. These Words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent Me. Jesus declares twice in this SPEECH (3 chapters long) that the Words He is saying are not actually His own, but God the Fathers. Ergo... The Word of God(life+light)within Him tells Him what to say and He says it. Jesus is God's mouth piece. God is the one talking, not Jesus. That verse, John 14:6 is about God, who had Jesus speak it on His behalf. I.e. the Light, God's Living Word, in us all, (including your dog) is the Way. Coincidentally... The Word is life and light. (John 1:4, John 8:12) The, Way of Life, is Light, God's Word. Jesus' mission was to prove that God's Word, part of God Himself, is the Way of Life. Since He was walking the Way of Life(light) Himself, He was the only man perfectly suited to speak on God's behalf, quoting what the Word told Him to say, for God. Ergo... The Way, which is Truth(Light) and Life is the Word of God. P.s. James 1:22, they didn't have Bibles. The whole doctrine of the Bible is... Do what God (His Word) tells you to do. Like Jesus did.

@@jakefocht5715 Jesus is the vine and God is the gardener. Jesus says he will give you the “spirit of truth” aka the Holy Spirit to guide us. And through him and only him can we get to God the father . And he does say God is greater than him. He is the only begotttwn son and has always been there, even in the Old Testament Please don’t try and mislead people. Hope that isn’t your intention. Just like in marriage when two flesh become one. It’s the same concept. This where we get the trinity. Which is exactly what Jesus is explaining here. God bless!

There are unknown authors in a lot of these missing books, even in some parts of the bible.

It’s a metaphor. To show that Female are not inferior to males.

Or you could look at Thomas as one who was skeptical of the resurrection, but then because of his doubt, was convinced because he went from belief to knowing.

What's fake? The Gospel? If that's what u're referring to, u couldn't be more wrong & know Not of which u speak! This Gospel gave me 2 medically impossible healings, oh doubting Thomas, but " if u will Not know yourselves, then u dwell in poverty, & it is YOU who are that poverty!"(Yashua)
