Emmylou's friends are Ryan Adams, Steve Earle, Chris Hillman, Sheryl Crow, Gillian Welch, David Rawlings, Jim Lauderdale, Victoria Williams, The Mavericks, and Whiskeytown. Bernie Leadon is a part of the house band and plays mandolin and electric guitar. Also in the house band are: Greg Leisz (guitars, lap and pedal steel), Buddy Miller (bass), Paul "Wix" Wickens (keyboards, accordian), and Ethan Johns (drums).
