Wow!! Well Aaron, you know what you're doing next Spring....Dry stacking rock walls! You two are seriously the cutest & most inspirational couple ever & you make great videos. Thanks for the tour. Safe travels home
Great tour, almost as good as being there!!!!! I was excited to know that you would be there, and get a really good look at all the beautiful colorful scenery. As I always say, Michigan a cool place to be anytime of the year. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲 Not sure if you know this but, until the water meets under the Mackinaw Bridge this body of water is Lake Huron. Lake Michigan meets under the Mackinaw Bridge, and is on the other side of the Mackinaw Bridge. Breath taking and relaxing........enjoy!!!!!!
I so want to be there next time. I just discovered this 2017 and missed the show. next year if God gives me life I will be there! Thank you sooooo much!!!!
The cottage at the top of the hill is a house I spent many summer weekend trips at when I was a child (before the Reno!) Good family friends of ours. Cool to see the gardens being featured.
Love! We used to visit Mackinaw Island all summer long pre-Covid! I can't wait until the border reopens as we live in Canada, less than an hour away. It's so beautiful there!
Aaron looks sooo young here! Laura is just ageless. Funny watching you guys here as a young married couple, whilst knowing you will have a son and daughter and are the best parents on earth. I love how blessed you are for having great priorities. I pray you will prosper as your soul prospers.
You and your hubby did great again! Absolutely breathtaking....love the old time feel of the island and all of their beautiful and well thought out gardens but they don't seem like it.... just lovely🤗🌸🌹🌺🌷🚴🚴♀️
Yes! I finally did that with my house plants, if I don't like it or if it's dying I just got rid of it and I felt so much happier focusing on the ones I like
Loved the video! Lived in Michigan 50 years and have been to Mackinac island many times. Still love the island even though I'm in the PNW now where it's just as beautiful. Thank you!
That was such a beautiful tour...WOW....Everything was so pretty...The house and carriage take you way back in time and the bicycle ride around town was amazing.....I love watch your videos and you always have very nice music playing too....I don't know the name of the music you were playing on the video but is was very nice....
Such an absolutely INCREDIBLE tour of all these AMAZING gardens :-) thanks a million for sharing Laura and sending heaps of love and happy growing from Ireland XXXXX
The Stroh House is likely sponsored or owned by the Stroh Family, a major brewing family in the Detroit area from the early 20th century. I used to babysit the children of one of the Stroh family's sons - in Shadow Woods north of Detroit. Equivalent to the Miller family in Milwaukee.
Speechless Again..wanted to see more😍..love it... love the island such respect for how they have maintained their lifestyle and values in this crazy go go go must have material world...i love that makes my heart happy
That was such an amazing adventure with you guys, thank you so much for sharing it with us. I know I’m late in seeing this video but I just loved it. What a dream come true.
I loved the tour...thanks. I also love the rock walls. Living in Wisconsin we have fields of rock. I would love to have one beautiful wall towards the back of my garden. Maybe next year I can hire this out! I will use this video to show my handy man just what I want!
I love ALL your videos but this one, oh my definitely on my bucket list! I've heard about this island and thought it would be great in the winter to cross country ski but definitely have to go to a garden tour. Thanks for sharing!
As I open my garden for charity each year, here in Dublin in Ireland, it just go' s to show what can be growing in hotter country's TFS Mairead in Ireland
Bummer! I can't plant the meteor showers verbena, it's hardy from zones 7 to 10. =( So beautiful the gardens, thank you for taking us on the tour with you guys. 🌾 Merry met 🌿
Added to the buck list!!! Awesome video, check RU-vid everyday just to see if you have updated!! Love to see what you do, your passion and pure love for garden:) great job!!
Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing. I know you don't live in the south, but have you done any gardening videos for folks that live in the tropics?
I see in the glass reflection at 7:25 that he's holding a DSLR gimbal. If you're planning to do such handheld videos often, you should get a DJI OSMO. It really works great in situations like this. Great video, by the way.
OSMO+ should be available in the USA. I'm a video producer based in India and I know how hard it is to maneuver the DSLR gimbal and getting the dynamic balance right is a nightmare. I got OSMO few months back and I couldn't be happier.
