The gardens are beautiful but can we say HOLY MOLY for that "she-shed"!!!! It is stunning!! and the workmanship!! To heck with the main house... I want to live in the she-shed!!!!! And the water feature and fire pit areas--WOW!! I absolutely loved the tours of the wonderful gardens and homes... Jack is so talented with his designs ... such a lovely area. Kudos to the Island for not allowing cars etc to ruin everything. Laura was great and Aaron did an amazing job of filming--thank you!!!! ❤

I had the opportunity to meet Laura, Aaron and also Jack Barnwell while attending the Grand Garden Show hosted by Proven Winners on Mackinac Island. There have been many times I have met personalities, influencers or celebrities that fall short of who I thought they were in "real life". Laura, Aaron and Jack are as genuine and authentic in person as they are in the videos which is rare to find. Thank you and Aaron for sharing all of your special talents and gifts. Love it! The 'she shed' that Jack's brother built is unbelievable. No screws, nails, etc were used. Now, that is a labor of love. Great tour with Jack's background info and yes, Aaron's on point filming.

Oh my.. I’m from Australia and it just so unexpected to see the quintessential Hill Hoist clothes line near that immaculate lawn. It’s lovely to see a small garden and house, plenty of ideas.

I live in northwest WI far closer to the great Mississippi than the Great Lakes. What I have appreciated about these garden tours with Jack, Laura and Aaron is that my yard more resembles the heavily wooded and hilly space that Jack is reworking than the flat, open and sunny spaces that Laura and Aaron work with. I notice neither of these gardener begin with a set design and let the space reveal itself as the plants do their thing. I like the hardscape that Jack uses to separate the flowerbeds from the forest. I love Laura's on-camera presence and Jack's boundless energy. Enjoyed these tours 😀

Wow that shed, made me so nostalgic. My grandfather was a carpenter by trade and didn't believe in screws and nails!!! That attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship is lost in todays society of instant gratification and continuous consumerism.

I absolutely love these tours! To see the possibilities of things I could do or add to my garden, not to mention the beautifully restored historic homes. What a treat! BUT, wouldn’t it be fun to have Jack come to your garden and work with you on some of the areas you are having trouble nailing down!!! Now that would make for a few awesome videos!

I am amazed at the size of the "cottages"and really the property the people have. What do they do to keep the grass so green and lush..what kind is it? It is all so pretty..almost unreal.

I so loved this garden with all its little rooms. It's more my size. Yes share the name of that sedum and I think I just saw the water fall I want in my yard. So beautiful!

I heard Laura asking all the right questions about that pink hydrangea in bed behind the red brick patio against the new addition. I could read her mind and I bet you all could, also. LOL Another great tour! I love to hear about his design choices in all the hardscape.

Haha Laura, I told my husband you are on Mackinac and he said he hoped your trip was much better than last time! The whole cottage area is beautiful; I will have to watch again to translate some of these features into my garden. Jack does wonderful work. We will be there again next year!
