They only left the Demon out because they knew that it would win easy. But Dodge does make it illegal to use drag mode on the street, cause its dangerous
Dodge can't make anything illegal because their a company not a government. It can be against policy but if I own the car their policy means less than nothing to me.

Wouldn't surprise me, for a decent amount of extra money companies will throw in all kinds of weird stuff. Pretty funny and interesting they literally sell a starter kit drag car setup as an option
Afaik, Dodge can't for legal reasons sell you the demon as a drag car. But because legislators are the slowest and dumbest people on earth, there are loopholes/blatantly large gaps in the fine print that allow Dodge to sell you the Demon as a street legal brick on wheels and then sell the bits to turn it into a drag car for just a dollar more
Mr Hammond - If a manufacturer makes £20k profit on a car it sells at £100k but then doubles the price to £200k it then makes £120k profit, which is a SIX fold profit increase, not a mere doubling.
Agree. He likes the contrarian image, but that was more than unappealing, it was childish, infantile and envy born of his own inability to do what May can do and he can't.
1) James had his traction control off...so it wasn't really him. 2) Of course the low fuel light was on in the muskstain. 3) Dodge wouldn't do that, they make toys for overgrown children who miss their hot wheels cars with headers bigger than the oversized rear tires...
I hope this is sarcastic coz one would understand exactly why he couldn't drag race the demon.... especially after watching the last portion if one had no clue about the car itself before this.

Apparently he doesn't understand muscle cars at all ? Is it not correct that muscle cars were made to give the average working man a car with POWER ! What working man can afford a near 100k car ?
Hammond is usually the funniest, whether he means to be or not, but here he was just a royal pain in the butt (even if semi-staged). It was just excruciating to watch.
