Hi Philosospiel, i love you content and i hope you can see this comment!. I really really like Asuka's character and his idea of "accumulation of goodwill". Or at least what I could interpret of it. Someone with so much power and influence over the world, with the knowledge of what is and what would be, realizing that through all history, all of the great changes, revolutions and societal changes were either accomplished by immense bloodshed or by the detriment/opression of another subset of humanity. He, wanting good for all of humanity, then came to the idea that true change, just like in one's personal life, is not made in big leaps by large groups overnight, but in small, incremental steps made by the individuals in their own accord. So maybe the world won't change in 10 year, nor a lifetime, nor a lifetime of lifetimes , but it will change. That is for me, the accumulation of goodwill. So if someone is reading this and if you want to, help a stranger, listen to a friends problems, buy a homeless man a coffee on a cold winter morning. Just like Asuka, I will be praying for you, praying for the accumulation of goodwill. Thank You.
