Michelle and Melissa, George’s daughters, approached me about creating a video to honor their father, who cherished his Porsche 912 for over 50 years.They hired a great group to photograph and film the car, and myself to co-write, edit, and put everything together. I've been solo freelance for so long that it's a nice change of pace to collaborate on something like this!
In the end, through Bring-a-Trailer, they were able to find a steward who will enjoy the car as much as George did. Seeing the response and how many people have been moved by this video has been nothing short of staggering.

Wow, what an amazing story! I am building that journey with my daughter, we both love the Porsche 356. So couple of years ago, I purchased one and enjoyed the journey so far. I plan to pass on the car to her when she graduates from College.

Kevin, your work on the Gray Fox video was outstanding. Thanks again for your patience, knowledge, story telling ability and understanding of the car enthusiast world to help us create a heartfelt short documentary film about our late father and his love for the 912. We are so pleased with the outcome and we absolutely know he would have loved it too. And to top it off, it just won the 2021 BaT Video of the year?! Awesome! Sis and I really enjoyed collaborating with you... let's do it again sometime! :)

What a wonderful story and film. George was a true car guy. Someone who loved his car for what it stood for not it's "value". Memories, places, people, stories, experiences and dreams. We all need more Georges in the world.

An amazing story of your Dad and his awesome 912. My father-in-law and daughter share your Dad's birthday date so there is the connection with also having a 1966 912 as a daily driver since 1975 until the engine went south. Another long story. I hope you two are enjoying your Dad's 912 too!😎⛷

Thank you so much for sharing the story of the grey fox. I have owned a number of Porsche myself and I do regret sometimes for not having kept one car for ever. I also know the location of the factory in Zuffenhausen quite well as I worked next to it for a couple of years. Have seen many times as clients came to collect their Porsche. Great video, great story. This car struck me so much so that I actually still have 3 photos of it on my phone that I took back in 2014 at Santana Row in San Jose.
