Hilariously, Purp and Teal had been the most honorable in the game, always telling others when they were being conspired against.

not really, blue didnt betray red, his first ally, and why would blue want to really consider Teal as ally considering he found out Teal was just using blue to help purple? Its also followed with teal threatening blue if blue dares to go against him, so blue never conspire with anyone, and stand with his true ally (red). Blue cant betray red, and going against teal is not a betrayal as teal ask him to attack his first ally, and blue finding out Teal real motive. Purple made the southern alliance, only to cowards out and abandon it when he saw orange is knocking on his door, and left the people who stand up for him (grey and green) dying. Grey and green is honorable. They stand up with the ppl they have chosen as allies. Teal was pulling strings on blue to help purple's cause, purple cowards out and let his allies dying. Poor yellow died early not understanding the shifting alliance between purp and orange. Red is also same like grey and green, standing up for the people they have chosen as allies, sniping yellow as soon as knowing yellow switch side for purple, and calling out and fighting Teal after sensing Teal conspiring with purple. Later confirmed with blue as blue informs red that blue cant goes against red, his first ally, on behalf of teal. Then blue and red bands together against teal. Orange may not be honorable, but somewhat did redemption upon stopping pointless fight against grey and green. Then snipe green anyways, but its FFA so it is fair, not like orange propose the arena idea but rather green. Honor aside, purple and teal interaction is what make the game flows as it is, shifting web of alliance and they are using their best tricks on winning the game. From purple letting grey and green fight for his cause, and convince yellow to fight for him. Also teal passing out information as well as trying to convince blue to join for purple, it was a good plan by teal but failed because he ask blue to fight against red, not knowing blue and red had first buddy each other. Teal threat to blue was funny and spot on, the pressure was right as no one would've been able to help blue. Unfortunately, purple died, and everyone else can backs up blue. Each player was respectable in their own rights, personally my favorite is purple and teal as they are what make the game so good. But both are definitely the least honorable 11

After watching again, purple also lies to grey and green, stating that orange alliance will attack them as well in 24:20 , while orange target was actually just purple. Later on when purple informs grey and green about yellow message of "Emu now", trying to push sense of urgency, accidentally slips out that the target was just him alone. Green calls it out by "just" you? 28:44 since it can be somewhat inferred that the true target was just purple. Then purple continues it as message from orange, and its not like orange is trustworthy. Which is true, but its only partially, as purple withheld information that he knows orange target is just him. But that would make grey and green not standing for him if war with orange breakout because grey and green are not the target. So its still misleading.

The conquor the world campaigns in rise of nations were super fun, i wish aoe had something like that!

Orange would most likely snipe him. Remember they had been fighting just moments ago, and it'd take out two opponents at once. Moreover, keeping his king there after the alliance ends, would be unwise. Purple would be attacked, and even if his buddies don't snipe, purple would still prefer gaining a rank spot by killing green first. Worse still, purple could've snuck out vils to teal, tried a quick rebuild (he had the resources) and evac his king with help from Teal's navy. At that point he would almost certainly kill green. Also bear in mind that purple could still kill green's units with siege onager and/or switching neutral, without the king dying per se.

Teal tries to convince blue and promise blue his win, but later backfired after asking blue fight against red not knowing red is blue first ally. Then after it fails, teal threaten to destroy blue if blue not doing his bidding. Purple rally people for his cause, and abandon them just because orange knocking on his door with elephants. Purple lies a lot, remember how purple convince grey and green, framing the alliance made by orange are gonna go against "them" (Grey, green, purple) 24:20 , while the real discussion by orange was actually just for purple. Even down the line, Green even calls purple out when purple slips about yellow's message of "emu now" and informs grey and green. Then green calls out: "Just" you? in 28:39 Although of course when war breaks out grey and green sticks to purple, going against orange. But when the elephant stomps arrive at purple doorstep, he just chickened out and let grey and green faring for themselves. I can understand if purple just stalling it out to make his own army, to then goes against orange, or maybe betray grey and green who stand up for him, but no, he just sits there. The people who stand up for him, he left them to die, the people who was his enemy, he let them march to stomps the people who raise their arms for him. How is that not dishonorable, he betray his previous ally who are fighting for him, yet not telling them to stop the war so they are dying for no reason, at the same time doesnt lend a hand to the new side he is in. The war was already pointless, but purple let it goes on trying to bank resource and hope both side destroy each other, even though both was fighting for him. That is worse than just betraying and take a side, and there is no honor there, only cowardice. The rant aside, purple and teal are what makes the game interesting, so respect for both of them to create the complicated situation. But they are by far least honorable players in the game, not that it matters since its a game anyway 11
