He is always so upbeat and positive and it makes me strive to have a similar mentality. Overwatch can be at its absolute lowest and emong will still find something to smile about
I feel like Fareeha has a game of her own going on here where she wants to see how many times she can duck her head under the camera before someone asks about it. Kind of like seeing how many times you can say meow in a conversation before it gets pointed out.
i think to make the issue of struggling to figure out what hero it is due to skins. they should add a client side option to force the defaults for hero skins. you would still have skins on when your on the hero's, however all enemies and teammates have the default skins. its not really a big issue now but later on it could be very handy.
I'm going to love 6 months after the comp "rework" when people figure out that there's no difference between "narrow" and "wide" matchmaking and the only thing relaxing group restrictions will do will be allowing boosting.
Yea but at the end of the day who cares, its a video game meant for people to play with friends and have fun so restricting that is pretty bad mechanic
The way I understood the clash point system is that it gonna be kinda like domination in cod. Where the more objs u have captured the higher ur points go per tic. Like if u have 4 objs ur points would go up by 4 a second compared to the 1 per second that the team defending their last obj 2:17:37
Fareeha saying that the single player stuff would be played once and then moved on kinda hurt. I was looking forward going through campaign missions and getting the skill trees to try out different weird builds like a combo of borderlands (without the loot stuff) and left 4 dead with the overwatch abilities and characters
If you were watching flats play the new tank, you would take his opinion on Mauga with a grain of salt. Bro had no idea how to play him( makes sense he was at blizzcon until the very end of the trial, so no hate). He was using his charge aggressively and getting blown up when he charged into 5. every other top 500 streamer like yeatle would play very defensive, basically only charge to get to new cover positions or when a fight is basically won already to chase, and build his incredibly strong ultimate. Mauga really has to use the cardiac cooldown at the right time or play passive and disengage, like a bastion turret form.
I broke up with Overwatch after the PvE debacle, but the one thing that would bring me back is taking the heores out of the Battlepass and just available to eveyone at launch. I will be forever tilted by that decision.
1:51:42 - 2:03:32 Bruh Freedo gotta shorten up his points better because that was 12 minutes of talking. Im a subscriber of YourOW and i do think he has value in what he says but goddamn they gotta be more concise and shorter cuz they turn into ramblings after a while.
I appreciate everyone's hype for what was announced and what COULD be coming in the future... but we have had announcements like this before only to have the carpet pulled out from under us. I am strictly in "Call me when its ready" mode. I'll believe it when I see it.
I think clash will be great for OW. It’s linear nature will be very good for OW understandability. A more structured push mode. Every match will be like kings row. I think we have enough of the og game modes maps. I think one a year from escort/control/hybrid would be fine with me.
The security part sounds annoying but considering we're in America. You can't be too cautious. I'm glad security was THAT annoying. Just means they were really cautious and careful.
Guess what? I was able to import a car by not constantly spend money on micro-transactions. Buying the game is fine, you save more by not spending on dumb shh...
I totally disagree with Flats about the monetization. The k-pop shit is MORE than the price of a triple A game for like 4 skins. SF6 came out and they had a bundle you could buy for the base game that included all the first year dlc characters, an extra skin for each of them and 2 stages for 50$ and I thought I was getting gouged there. But that is 4 characters, 4 skins and 2 stages. You can buy fking Diablo 4 for what the 4 skins in OW cost. And then he has the balls to say some dumb crap like, and I am paraphrasing, "we need to stop critiquing the shop". How is he ever surprised anytime someone call's him a shill. This is the definition of it.
problem is 20$ skins in a free game has been so normalized that getting a bundle of 4 of them and some other things for 50$ is gonna be seen as “generous”. I am of the firm belief that if legendary skins were just 10 bucks it be a win for everyone, you wouldn’t be spending the same amount for some indie games for a single cosmetic which would make more people willing to buy and bundles would be priced around what the skin on its own used to cost so whales will still buy it as well as some others. My only issue is that with live service plague unfortunately that shit pricing makes people want to spend 20 bucks on a “limited” cosmetic instead of a game that could be amazing just because they want to look pretty in the game they already play
I'm not arguing against your point but I'm pretty sure its 5 skins instead of 4. IMO it definitely would have been too high for 4 skins but for 5 skins being essentially $10 each its not as much.
The difference is 5 skins and the fact that they are skins and not literally buying a character bundle. Also, skins are not mandatory and people had this critique for loot boxes
Skins are also pointless, and the game itself can be played 100% for free. I agree they are ripping people off with the skins, but you also don't have to buy them to enjoy the game to its maximum level. I personally love it cuz overwatch is my favorite game, and the more money it makes the more attention it will recieve from blizzard.
@@zacharywoodford8530 Yeah. People are acting like they're scams but you're getting what you paid for. If you don't think it's worth that money, don't buy it
I feel like the passives shouldn’t be role locked (there’s too many different abilities and skillsets to balance it), instead lock characters to a specific passive. Use them for baseline character balance instead of roles (I.e zenyatta with dps passive, mei with tank passive, JQ with support passive, ball with dps passive) then tweak from there. You could even add a couple more new general passives in the future.
I was confused just reading that, let alone balancing it. Role passive make sense and have balanced things just enough, they don't need to make any new major changes to them, just new interactions: a dps who negates the tank boop resistance, a support that slows down your shooting or reload, stuff like that and then heroes to then add boop resistance, more Kiriko ults. That's how you balance with a metaphorical wrecking ball
@@nailinthefashion it is essentially the same thing as you said except these effects are standardized like how the role passives are. Forget that they are role specific and think about how any character can have one these passives. Then you wouldn’t have characters with useless passives for their kits, or vice versa an over powered passive for their kit.
@@MichaelSmith2233 every one already has very bloated kits that the low end don't fully utilize, to add more clutter is a mistake of the naive not the stroke of a master. Believe what you want, but they aren't doing that because that's insane, like the hero missions having so much depth. It's a great concept, but we already have things like Junkrat's mayhem on top of the role passive lol. They have the freedom to add more but are openly telling us they don't want to do that unless the hero or ability really calls for it. And you're right, sometimes the passive is redundant, and that hero needs no more help performing reasonably well otherwise they'd get the tweak 🤡
@@nailinthefashion huh, I’m not taking about adding extra abilities ontop of the role passive I’m saying keep those passive irrespective of the playable characters but simply switch around the ones that provide nothing to the character or to tune them back, then moving forward new characters don’t need to adhere to the ideal that a tank needs boop resistance to be viable, having that support passive on the tank would more interesting. Its not adding anything in fact it is taking away so that certain aspects of characters aren’t over tuned or punished for not adhering to the basis these role passives were created for, at the low end and at high end. I understand the balance of many heroes are okay and see why you’d object due to misunderstanding, and if you still object to it, that’s okay, thank you for your input.
@@MichaelSmith2233 no, I understood, I just think that would be so insane to balance, you clearly do not have any experience and might even be new to overwatch in general lol. That sounds like first iteration hell, and what they would have dome in OW1 but now we have more concise identity and DON'T have something silly like a tank that heals without an active ability .... my god ..
why are people shit talking jeff? this new ow2 is a shell of what it used to be. Just letting you know a huge part of the community was behind him. Maybe, at least everyone I play with. Between the new sojourn skin looking like a knock off LoL skin, and an autotuned pop band getting a $70 skin pack, i didn't think OW "2" could go any lower. But here I am, my favorite creatores all hopping on the Wish LoL dev team. Very sad this day.
Because a lot of things were also his fault ? Yeah there was a shit show at blizzard internally, but 2/2/2 delay, GOAT, patch rythm, all of that, that's on him as the director too. While he did lead the origin of OW, he is also a big part of the issue the game had (update cycles, keep pushing back on things). been there the first 2 years of the game, came back multiple times to see what changed (not much till OW2 really) and yeah OW2 is 100% better than what we had before. EVEN with the current issues we have.
@@nekogami87 I'm glad your happy. I'll continue to miss the days where i would discuss OW1 in Starbucks (of all places), with people literally knowing the leadership by name. I know the top .05% were unhappy with the meta comp, but I'm going to spoil it for you, the top .05% in any community is always unhappy (that's why they made it that far). Anyway, if they ever start wondering why they need to charge their shrinking consumer base so much, it's cause the game just doesn't hit it anymore. Smaller base, smaller profits. Also, as a Game Designer myself, it's a severe warning sign that they are doing bottom up, instead of top down design. You'll see in in a few years time, I'm sure of it. Anyway, I hope you get at least some joy from it, because there is a spark behind the idea of OW. I just wish you could have seen what it might have been.
Jeff Kaplan didn't want to make a competitive shooter game. That's where the gripes come from for all the players that want Overwatch to feel competitive.
@@bobothebob4716You're just flat out wrong lmao 😂 Everyone was complaining about GOATS. OW 1 is infinitely worse than OW 2. The only redeeming quality was the SR system being better than this new system.
@@Shzl47 While I hear this commonly repeated from the community, there is no evidence that this was the case. Jeff was in charge and literally created a competitive shooter. Just because he wasn't given enough resources to pursue PVE, doesn't mean that he didn't care about PvP. In fact, every single hero up to and including Mauga that has been released was a hero created under his watch.
Dude; the overwatch content creators have to take their beer goggles off and become equipped with reality…. P.s. just because you’re realistic doesn’t make me you a doomer. I’d much prefer to listen to someone who is realistic, than a lot of these rose tinted glasses takes. Blizzard has been playing you guys for some time now c’mon….
I mean sure but it’s a digital product. They produce it once and can give it to anyone. Prices are high for single character skins and that will remain the general consensus. The complaints are valid no matter the price as it is ultimately subjective
This podcast rules. All the regular guests have such good insight and a talent for communicating. Combine that with SVB's high empathy and ability to smartly funnel the conversation in productive directions and you've got a banger every episode.
For real SVB's hosting skill is really good. It becomes even more apparent when you watch other panel discussions or podcasts, they can fall apart so fast, but he keeps this together so seamlessly.
Absolutely! Seriously, I feel like SVB always gets together some great creators for this style of video. Obviously a lot of that is down to regulars like Freedo and Flats being pretty qualified for these kind of talks, but even the more one-off guests are usually of pretty consistent quality. Only thing I could say is I'd like to see more Spilo, but considering he finally got in with the last one, I'm guessing we can look forward to seeing more of him in future. I definitely feel like Flats and Spilo are always giving some of the best commentary on the state of the game and solutions.
And she sings, does calisthenics, has a beautifully cozy and welcoming community, so why she gotta have stupid lungs???? I'd happily donate mine Strange Aeons got them party city balloon lungs too 😭 can cool people just have stable health plllzzzzzzz
@@TrueNyxisI know technically it’s not a tv show but overwatch had a short anime leading up to the invasion season and it was fantastic. I think it was only like 3-4 episodes and each episode is like 8 minutes but it was great
I would prefer a movie trilogy but I get that that would be a massive undertaking Either way I want a hero revealed in the show or whatever and then we get them a week later. Mauga is cool but when they went all out for Sombra, it felt so impactful. Watching videos of people deciphering every little clue was so fun. I hope they do more stuff like that again ... these unceremonious drops feel so corporate when it can easily have a lil sumn sumn even just Instagram posts idk
Someone put Freedo on a timer each time he speaks. Bro turns a single point into 5-10mins of rambling tangents (e.g. 38:00 - 48:00 ) 😅 Probably a side effect of having a channel where you only talk (which i did used to watch a lot when really into OW) ahaha. Still, this is probabaly my favourite guest list so far on these podcasts - gj :)
@@everilliem3292 during this u can see SVB trying to do that politely. Constantly going "right.", wanting to interject. It is a fact that Freedo rambles the longest and its been brought up in the comments too, which he reads so he may wanted to make it more even
@@kayanono saying "right" is agreeing and acknowledging, NOT, a form of interjection, do false....SVB is a great host and ALWAYS directed the conversation to other guests throughout all his podcasts cutting them short, often with a "I think... Such and such" or a "I would like to get X's thoughts on this" or he politely just moved to another topic. People seriously here crying over freedo having an opinion on a matter where the whole idea is for people to share opinions, it's just nuts, especially considering how Little freedo contributed overall to this episode by comparison.
I think the KPOP collaboration is underrated. The KPOP skins are the first time a skin has had a "community" . When I see another player with a Le SSerafim skin , we immediately bond and hit emotes together. "Themed" skins that aren't just things like "Medieval" will create that sense of community. OW2 also suffers from having great skins, but virtually no way to show them off to other people (other then them seeing it in fights). Valorant for example has expensive gun skins, but you can throw your gun to teammates so they can see it and appreciate it. I've always thought something like a pre-game inspection screen where you could see other players skins etc. in the lobby would make skins MUCH more valuable.
Did you forget about One Punch? It permanently changed the ecosystem of OW fans and attracted more hardcore otakus who literally roleplay as OW characters now haha. Similarly, seeing the kpop stans rise has been amazing. I get your sentiment and I hope they do more, clearly they are nerds just like us, so I love seeing what inspires them
This has been the blizzard cycle for so long. The game will be good just give us time -> something gets fucked up massively -> the game sucks they never listen to us -> its awful for a while -> the game will be good just give us time. On repeat since 2016
@@calmguru1274Difference is Bobby Kotick fuckin up the system. They're already doing updates for Mauga. Before, they couldn't even fix the Hanzo bow glitch for a full month.
I usually watch these on 1.5 speed. Have to go to 2.0 whenever freedo opens his mouth and it’s still too slow. Dude needs to listen a bit more and stop rambling. I unsubscribed to his account so long ago cuz all he did was ramble
@ghostwalker435 I feel it is kind of excessive. I like hearing what he has to say, but it can get frustrating when he goes from one point to another, loop back to his original point, and give a concluding point to justify his original point.
So I think on the topic of comp that the new system they showed is way better. While I think the sentiment behind Fareeha's idea of bounties or anything else has good intentions but it is misguided. Comp is for competitive people, not casuals, and the main focus behind playing comp should be to win. You can have fun in comp but comp isn't made to be fun, its there to test your skills and see how you have improved as a player. You don't play comp to fall in love with the game, you play it because you already love the game and want to invest your time to learn and improve. The problem with playing on a team that gets disbanded after every match is that you don't have the same respect for your teammates as you do with people you might play games with in real life. I play soccer and I can be happy with losing a match because I know and respect my teammates despite them and/or myself making a misplay that would cause us to lose. Simply put, you're never going to be happy losing online games because the people that you are matched with aren't "people" in your mind, they are just some bot on the internet that you can blame for your loss. If they want people to be less anxious and less upset about losses they need to emphasize grouping and comradary between teammates and allowing a wider range of grouping is a good start.
@RK9. It's cool if you don't feel like that but that's just what I think and I know I'm not the only one. Obviously I can't speak for everyone but if you think I'm wrong somewhere maybe it would be better to point out where you disagree instead of saying I'm wrong in a fairly rude way. This is literally a perfect example of why people don't respect others on the internet.
@@jaedengarcia8249you think other people lack empathy for other players. I don’t get mad when I loose games, I just look at what I can do better. I look at the replays to see the context of what went wrong in the loss, it is what it is. I don’t feel the need to talk shit to or blame anyone. If a simple mistake can ruin the whole game from one person were we really winning in the first place?
@bwill1268 lack of empathy isn't the only reason players might get mad about a loss but it is undoubtedly a cause for it. Overwatch is a complex enough game that a mistake isn't going to ruin a game but it could easily lose a game (think last fight situations or fight that should have won a point and allowed your team to keep fighting or progressing). You don't have to be getting crushed to lose, and generally you ought to be having fairly even matches in ranked where any mistake or misplay can tip the balance. If you don't talk trash or flame that's great because you are mature enough to reflect on your own contributions to a win or loss and learn to improve from that. But people can become hypercritical of their teammates errors online if they think I caused them to lose a fight they needed to win. When you know and respect a player you don't really flame them like you see people do online. Banter takes the place of flaming when players have actual relationships with eachother.
Love seeing the cat lady himself, Emongg, in the podcast 💪 Absolutely love this man. I also agree with Flats that Mauga would have fit way better at 6v6 with someone like Dva or Zarya bc he can’t mitigate at all so he melts SO easily.
Svb, thanks for bringing everyone together not just for us, but also for the devs. You guys are the voice of the community and the devs respect your opinions on the podcast
I'm less than 4 months into the game and already this deep into the meta thanks for all these creators and their good insights here and on the respective channels they have ❤
I think when it comes to making losing in Ranked feel better, I feel like this new system, will actually do a better job at alleviating that anxiety / pressure. All due to the more in depth feedback and information you'll get after every match. I'd love for them to expand it even further, to performance feedback from the games, because its so much more rewarding and understandable, when you're told why you lost / how you lost, or why you've sunk so low in SR. I look at games like LOL (In which I have only just started playing, like literally not even a week into playing) and it gives feedback / advice on what items to buy / abilities to unlock and upgrade first, and it shows after games, where and when one team was winning vs when it started losing, and how good / bad someones CS was in that game, and then obviously the stats themselves, and I think OW could do something very similar to this, and it would make it very clear whether that game was just lost from the start cause your teammates were just dogshit, or if you were the issue and how you could of been better. MORE INFORMATION IS GOOD, GIVE US MORE.
The difference between LOL stats giving you an understanding of how your teammates are performing vs. Overwatch stats which can be misleading and arguably pointless is definitely something that needs to be addressed it just feeds toxicity and bad behaviors
As an apex and overwatch player with over 2,000 apex hours and an overwatch player with over 1,500 hours I think I have some what of a unique point of view, personally I think content wise overwatch players have it better. I think the constant new maps hero’s and battle passes provide players with more consistent ways to play the game differently. Here is a list of pros that overwatch 2 has 60 day vs 100 day seasons: New maps way more often: new hero’s 80 days sooner than apex: More meta changes, apex has meta changes about every 45 days which is including new legends, the meta changes aren’t just less often but there always less too, for example the new season had a change to one gun and they just nerfed it by one damage per bullet, they nerfed 2 characters and buffed one ever so slightly if asked a main of that character what did they changed I doubt the could answer. so 3 legends changed for an update that took 90 days. Skins, now this goes to apex, but I don’t think it’s actually good because most events have no LTM but instead is 160 dollars worth of skins with no new way to play the game so apex actually spends to much time on skins and not actually playable content. Battle pass this I think apex also wins but both suck: Esports, now at the moment I don’t need to tell you which one is better but I will say algs can be very difficult to watch sometimes because there are 20 teams instead of 2: Ranked, now both have similar past were they had a good system then changed it for no reason but apex’s is just so much worse by far, overwatch also has a bright future with it too and apex doesn’t so if you’re someone who is high ranks for both games it’s no question that overwatch is currently better and is better in the future: Not to mention you also are still getting some pve and apex ain’t getting shit. So In conclusion I think overwatch 2 has better content than apex, also just one more reason why apex meta changes suck, horizon a character released in season 7 was the best legend in the game from season 7 to season 18 remember 90 to 100 day seasons so there was roughly 1,000 days of being the top meta pick, that’s so stupid for so many different reasons and I’m literally a horizon main. also I remember I think It was an Aaron dev update were he said there’s going to be as many hero changes as last season and flats said that’s not that much even though It was about 10 to 12 hero changes which is as many as apex’s last three’s combined
See. Whenever I hear things like, "... and it felt like they were genuinely listening," @13:19, that's when I know we can't see the forest for the trees. It's corporate lingo 101. Public relations. Anything to create a sense of endearment or emotional attachment towards a corporation that values not at all what you think, and instead values your willingness to open your wallets indefinitely into the future.
You’re going to be alone in your observation. The members on this podcast and the playerbase as well are far too gone to notice what you’re talking about. The corporate lingo is how they think and talk.
Worst part about it is, it's "they're genuinely listening" to the same people who had a direct, invite-only channel to the developers via Discord for YEARS. Same old story, same old song and dance from the regime and their unpaid volunteers.
Hm, good points on the e-sports. As a gamer who was never into watching actual sports, I was mildly interested in the concept of e-sports and when I started playing OW I thought maybe it is something I can get into it. But it was so weird and obscure and so ... American. I hope they move to a more global setup so we can all have local/regional teams to root for and not just 5 teams named after US cities or whatever. It would be nice to get excited about something like that.
Now that blizz is being more transparent, any chance our content creators are going to stop lying and saying they don’t know anything? Y’all are repeatedly admitting that the devs talked to you and you told *us* that did not happen. Do what Freedo does. If you know something and you can’t say it, don’t say anything. When you feign innocence you are lying and we know it.
Gotta admit them releasing manga early for that window made my friend re-download the game and get excited about the new changes coming in the coming season and even the ranked changes ,so it was also a great hype builder
about the eSports side of things I was really hopeful after the league was dead but then the flash ops thing came out and SA and OCE are once again not only neglected but actually Im pretty sure can't even play in other regions that are allowed to compete and now I'm super disappointed and mad again. I'll focus on SA here bc that's my region but you don't have to look for obscure games to find one we have success on. and even the ones that we maybe are shit internationally, our local tournaments are still loved and hyped. the love for games is only growing here, people love local orgs like it's a football team but if blizzard doesn't do the investment here, or worse keep making it impossible for us to play professionally they're not getting any of it on the pro scene and the game will just stay dead for the casuals. we wanna play and love overwatch and we wanna get better and be competitive and root for our countries but so far the biggest thing in the way has been blizzard themselves. all of this to say I would love if there was a podcast about the future os ow eSports that maybe you could bring players from SA and OCE to talk about it. we always been vocal and I'm sure we would love to have the visibility this podcast offers.
Them doing good changes to competitive finally is not going to save the game. As long as their balance team is the way it is, the game won't be fun to play enough to care about competitive.
I would really like to see the hero release cadence return to the way it was in early Overwatch. If anyone remembers, OW1 actually got a new hero every 3 months (4 heroes per year), whereas now it's every 4 months (3 per year). That extra month wait is pretty noticeable. If they can figure out a way to shorten that gap and have it make sense with the seasonal model, it'd be huge for maintaining stronger momentum/excitment for the game.
Easy. Stop putting heroes in battlepasses and then have a mini event on each of their releases. You'll get both battlepasses as well as a new mini event each time a character is released. Stack on top of that collaboration events, and the normal rotation of events, and the game will have stuff going on all the time.
Flats nailed it, think about the avg legendary skin cost of like 15 bucks. With the bundle each skin is $10. Very high value in comparison to all of the previous bundles
Overwatch has really good skins but the prices of skins and bundles are obviously too pricey. Especially when you only see your gun! Except for Rein and Brig ofcourse.
2:22:20 This will probably show my age but when Freedo said “Momentum” it hit me like a ton of bricks EXACTLY what this game mode is. It’s “War” from Call of Duty World at War and, in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, it was called “Momentum.”. It was a fan favorite mode back then
5:23 I legit went 4-1 (4 in a row!) and deranked from Gold 1 to Gold 5.. Oh and I was one of the top performers in at least 2 of them, getting highest dmg and elims and POTG.
I love all of these people but I agree very much with Freedo. I’m an RPG guy that was drawn in by overwatch but it doesn’t have that same appeal anymore
lmao OW will NOT be able to get more devs in with such little pay and forcing ppl to move to the INSANELY expensive Irvine. Simply look up an apartment there, hell, even a studio, and look at what blizzard/ow pays. Good luck getting ppl to want to join
Hot take but I think it should just he escort and hybrid. Ow doesnt work in any point objective gamemodes first off but even if you like thode gamemodes, theres only so much you can do with point objective modes realistically, like flash point is control with extra steps and 2cp is control but the rules are slightly different, and so on, even push is a low grade version of escort. And the reason escort works so well is because escort adds structure, it's a great way to add structure to a game and ow by it's very nature is a chaotic game because of its fast pace movement and wild amount of wacky abilities so its really benefits from escort, while control just looks like a cluster fk on the best of days, and flash point is that with more walking. Plus is it really the structure of the gamemode were playing that is stale or the maps available to us in what is objectively the most popular gamemode? I dont have statistics for that but I do know in paladins (a very very similar game) you can choose what gamemode you wanna play and seige is bascially there escort and if you solo queue for their version of control it takes so long while seige is so fast and if you queue for all gamemode you're like 75% likely to get seige and I feel if ow separated their gamemode queues they would have a very similar result where most people are checking off escort and maybe hybrid to queue for so if they just hard focused escort maps and made some more unique like blizzard world and kings row, then the game would feel 100x better but instead we just keep getting control points when me and almost everyone I know who plays ow whicu is alot as I've played this game for 7 years now, hates control or at least like escort more, ive never heard someone say control or 2cp is their fav gamemode because its almost always escort so for the love of god stop trying to recreate the dam wheel and just give us escort maps already.
If the new rank system isn't coming until season 9. The game is going to be on life support yet again for season 8. Actually we are in limbo as we speak, but they are going to extend it another 2 months? Hopefully they pull another big surprise and drop the new system mid season 8 or earlier.
I think the focus shift to direct money from the game instead of earning money from lisensing deals hurt the value of the ip. People aren't looking for new Overwatch merch outside of the game as much as they were before. The amount of money they were making away outside the game can't be as much as it used to be sadly.
Ight so can someone fill us in on the tea Fareeha teased like hell and won’t drop about OWWC? like aren’t we here to talk about it so the community understands and we hold them to changes in the future? can’t talk about what we don’t know.
Always love watching these podcasts. The future of Overwatch 2 is looking great to me, Venture looks great, and Mauga is everything I hoped for. (BTW it's just pronounced like Maui from Moana, only with a ga instead of a ee)
