Don't worry about it , people been going to war with animals for thousands of yrs, ancient Egypt once went to war against a big group of crocodiles and there were estimated about 2000 if them cuz there population boomed and the Egyptians lost a dozen men and they manage to kill like about only 500 and had to wait it out till they left lol

Here in Germany we have got Nandus (grey, one size smaller than Emus) which escaped from a farm and now became residential as an invasive species. I know this has become a meme, but seriously: It wasn't an actual war and it wasn't lost. They tried to get rid of vermin. The first attempt failed, the second succeeded. The only odd thing about this isn't the failure of the two machine gunners, it's that they actually tried to solve this with just two machine guns and one truck.

When the Black Hawk helicopter was first being deployed in Australia, crews had to be trained to not fly too low over kangaroos, as they scatter and warn the enemy. When they were building the flight simulator, they decided to just re-skin light infantry as kangaroos. Helicopter approaches, "kangaroos" scatter...perfect. The following year, a bunch of USMC helicopter crew are preparing for coming to Australia. Into the simulator they go...one flies a bit low, so the kangaroos scatter...only to launch Stinger missiles 30 seconds later! (They'd forgotten to disarm the re-skinned infantry)
