The queen has landed. Wearied from her perilous flight she sheds her wings, burrows into the soft sand and begins to lay. The first children of the nomadic Formica Ereptor must grow quickly if they are to survive. Soon the ants will embark on a vast and treacherous journey through thick jungle and scorching desert. In the end, only one colony will dominate atop the pinnacle of the ancestral mating grounds and secure its place amongst the great empires of the undergrowth.

Well the "kings" are really just a semen source. They die after mating and the queen ant keeps the sperm from that one encounter for the rest of her life.

argentina ants actually are the 1one that is small but big colonies they have ALOT OF QUEENS they produce more than 900 ants per day

Well, there are some exceptions to that rule, but not many. African Driver Ants, also known as the Bull Ant or Bullet Ant, have a winged subspecies that has wings and acts extremely aggressive.

Just saying for sake of saying, a swarm of driver ants, a family of ant species native to African and essentially army ants turned up to the proverbial eleven, can kill and eat prey as large as rats.

@@Jwsponky Yes, I know. But given the circumstances of the games system, it would be much harder to take down a rat in the game than in real life for ants. Unless they update it and make a technique where you can make the ants climb onto big bugs.

Beaver, a good strategy is to build a second group of worker ants so that you can have some nesting eggs and the other group to harvest food. Also great vid!

This is by far my favorite series of yours, Real time Strategy is the best! Before this I despised ants they were creepy and numerous enough to blot out the sky. Now, when I see them I root and sympathize for them, they're truly one of the most organized animals on the planet! Go ants!!

Don’t unlock the outside straight away. Focus on the stuff underground until you get a decent colony and then open it up so you can fight the other colonies that come to raid your nest.
