By the end of the game, Khorne is giving Valkia a hug and assuring her that she'll do better next time...Whilst Skarbrand is hiding in the corner overlooking the scene, and sadly asking himself why Daddy isn't as forgiving to him as her.
@@Godzilla-bo4jj Yeah, if Skarbrand had come up to Khorne and challenged him to combat, it'd be different. Perhaps Skarbrand wouldn't be alive that way, or Khorne would give him a smack on the back going "That was cool, but I'm way out of your league, now go back out there fighting in my name again" without the harsh punishment.
I love how each army perfectly fits how their god would fight: Khorne: takes all comers and fights everyone at once, gets wiped because of all that slaughter(Khorne is pleased) Nurgle: bogs everyone else down, being impossible to dislodge and causing problems for the other gods. Slaanesh: excels at flanking and cutting down enemies so much they overextend and get themselves killed. Tzeentch: takes their time, waits for the others to kill each other while taking pot shots and mops up anyone else still around with warp fire.
This brought back memories of the Mortal Kombat 7 cinematic. Where this ziggurat stands in the middle of a hellish wasteland, and everyone tries to fight their way to the top to claim some divine reward.
yep i think thats the start of the MK9 campaign too. the whole roster is torn apart and Raiden and Shao Kahn are fighting at the end of Armageddon atop the temple
I loved steamrolling all the new champions of Chaos lords on my Archeon campaign. The only thing going through my head as I rampaged through their lands was, "Daddy's home, and he brought his belt."
Yuuuup, Vilitch kinda flew under the radar leading up to release, but he's kinda crazy. Azazel may be the best single unit of the 4 champs, but Vilitch restoring shields and generally being a brick shithouse for his army to revolve around is schnasty
I like Vilitch because I get to play Tzeentch as a mostly melee focused faction with him. Tzeentchian infantry consistently looks so damn cool, so I always thought it was kinda sad they always had to play second fiddle to Tzeentch's magic shenanigans. With Vilitch, you can really just fight. So cool.
He also has the best "death" animation in the game. He spawns a portal and just leaves instead of dying lol. Unless he gets blown up by a cannon or something, cant portal away from that.
I like to think that while all this is happening the dark gods are just watching it together from the realm of chaos on a big demonic couch/sofa as if they're at a sleepover. Khorne being the raging football fan, Nurgle eating 13 large cauldrons of buttered popcorn, Slaanesh being the bro that constantly makes gay jokes, and Tzeench telling everyone to shut up when he can't hear the match.
Not only a great battle and FFA, but also so very flavourful and even ending on top of that hill. Couldn't have been better from a narative point of view either.
All the Chaos Gods are satisfied with this battle Khorne is pleased for the massive bloodshed and skulls taken. Every Warrior, regardless of allegiance, can feel the anger and ferocity within themselves Nurgle is pleased with the rot and decay of the dead and the dying. Despair those who failed their masters Tzeentch is pleased because massive amounts of winds of magic was weaved and flowed in the battlefield. The disruption of the Champions' powerbase fills Tzeentch with joy Slaanesh is pleased with the massive amount of pain and pleasure in the battlefield. The excess of everything, especially emotions was able to temporarily satiate Slaanesh's eternal hunger
Now we need a battle of the Demon Lord's leading demon armies on this map. Skarbrand, Kairos, Ku'gath, and N'kari, leading demonic troops to see if the outcome is the same.
I'm usually a champion/ daemon prince of chaos undivided but when it comes to picking one chaos god in particular... GRANDFATHER NURGLE AND FESTUS NEVER DISAPOINT! * JOVIAL GARGLED LAUGHTER * 🧟♀️ 🧟♂️ 🤢💚
Horray, my favorite Chaos faction won! Flamers are probably my favorite unit in that roster. I remember I tried to use them in the Campaign (and failed at usually..) and when used properly, they always make a strong showing for themselves.
New map looks incredible, and probably the best FFA I've seen yet. Thanks for all the hard work you put into these castings, they're some of the most cinematic yet informative replays of any TW creator.
What a fun game - this thunder dome setting is epic and it’s perfect how Chaos-y the results turned out. Can almost hear Tzeentch saying ‘just as planned’
I wish routing/retreating units trip and stumble, limp or look over their shoulders when running away to show their fear or exhaustion.. It would be a fairly minor thing to add in but a really neat feature cinematically, as half the fun of Total War Warhammer is appreciating the detail and watching replays!!
Great match. I've put hours into immortal empires already and holy COW it's amazing. It'll take years to get full campaigns finished across all the factions. Amazing
Fun fact of the day: The Great Game is a term often used to describe the rival imperial struggles of the British and Russian empire over the northern middle-east and caucases in the mid and late 19th century.
great map! this was a worthy fight, the Gods are pleased (some more then others maybe).Loved that moment the Flamers cooked some of their hated enemies
Hey, hey, people, this is perhaps one of the best FFA battles I've seen in so many incredible moments, like how that slicing shards were perfectly aligned with the vortex in the sky. But you know what would really make a thematic battle since it's the end times and all that, a Markus wulfhart vs taurox battle, just saying.
Id like to see damage spells in the game get a retweak. My idea is instead of the high miscast chance damg on caster there will be 3 rings when you cast. If you get lucky and everything goes right where you wanted the spell to go will cast there. But theres always a random chance it will cast on a random point AROUND where you cast. Could be unit you trying to attack could have shit luck and it spawn a ways out near where you cast on a friendly unit or something. Only the gods can really control the winds of magic.
Those gorgeous slashed dropping those doom knights like flies. Slashing animations which we have been getting alot off are visually and even combat more effective than the L U N G E most lords have in wh1 and 2. It doesn't throw them into the middle of blobs where they would spend a good second catatonic before deciding which model to face and L U N G E again
Yeah... Valkia seems a bit underwhelming when it comes to dueling stats, and even Azazel is better at fighting infantry. Especially since he gets passive aoe later, I have however been enjoying the khorne marauder horsemen (with throwing axes) as valkia can give khorne cavalry a pretty big charge bonus. The flaming weapons on the axes and having a really nice charge bonus actually makes them decent hybrid cav as you can quickly go from kiting spears into flank/rear charges. So honestly still a pretty fun campaign so far, haven't gotten far enough into it but really slapped the dark elves so something Valkia does works I guess
I love nurgle videos I can not wait until they get there Toad dragons and some anit large makes me so hype I think if I got in to fantasy I would have to make a nurgle army
I'm confused. I'm running a 3080 @ 1440p ultrawide and my game looks nowhere near as good as any of the YT video replays I see. When zoomed out the models look terrible on my system
Hey Mikandcookies, you are an amazing caster, love your comments and this match is so cool to watch. Keep the good work and those amazing games coming. Well done.
