CS 1.6 was the shit back in the day. I remember how source was so cool when it came out but gameplay was hard to get used to so most of us stuck with 1.6. then CSGO finally came out. At the time though i stopped playing when CsGO came out because i moved out and got an apartment with my ex gf. Which i never stopped playing though
