I love how they made Harvey Dent in Batman TAS. he didn't go crazy because of the accident, like in some versions, but he already had hidden psychological problems, that became worse because of the accident. a trigger like for serial killers. Batman TAS made a good job when portraying some villains first as ordinary guys, whom you didn't expect to become villains, like Harvey Dent and Victor Freeze.
@@sonrouge His preexisting psychological problems including SPS Split-Personality-Syndrome was added to the comics when they retconned his origin in the famed storyline Batman: The Long Halloween to be more in line with his origin from Batman: TAS, same with Mr. Freeze in the original comics he was just a ice-pun spewing villain with a high-tech suit and a ice-gun, his origin was retconned to his current origin in the comics due to how popular he was in Batman: TAS.
@@goblintributemaker2539 no it's definitely Mr.freeze poor guy just wants his wife back and when he does manage to save her she leaves him for someone else.
I don't know how many people agree but for me I loved the way they drew two face in the animated series. They didn't just burn his face off they used a chemical explosion to mutate it into this greenish blue grotesque misshapen face. He didn't have just an over done burn marks like in the dark knight or in the video games. He had this bulging eye and a horrid mouth. His hand was all bumpy and disgusting. It was truly art. Anyone else agree? I really wish they would of stuck with that look but seems to only be in the animated series.
In the movie, The Dark Knight, he was burned with kerosene or gasoline or something like that. I personally like the voice of TAS better, but in TDK i just really love how Dent looks. It just looks more.. realistic to me. I don't really like that they kept his hair in TAS and I really don't like the suit. Well.. the suit i can stand. It's how he looks, the blue/green and the mouth.. It just irks me. :3 You're opinion is valid and wanted. Please. to future readers, do not argue with either point unless you have one to state yourself. I don't want to have a internet war or whatever they are called popping up in my notifications. :3 Please and thank you. Have a good day, readers.
I do want to ask though, even if it's super late, did you really find his burn THAT realistic? I honestly thought it was done way to much. No way he could actually survive like that let alone be walking around and taking a shot lol I didnt like how burnt he was. It was way over the top.
Yea if they would of cut back a bit then it wouldn't have bugged me. But you could see bone lol Though I still liked him as a character and loved how he became two face. Though I also laughed at the "what did you guys call me at law school" "HARVEY TWO FACE" lol always funny.
Two-Faces origin story is that acid was thrown at his face, not him being burnt.. :P but yeah there are multiple things out there with either way acid, fire, explosion
Sadly in one of my favorite non batman related shows it goes You either die a villain or live long enough to see yourself become a hero and the show I am talking about is DBZ.Sorry just had to say it.
Fun fact: Batman originally got the giant penny from the Penny Peddler, but due to the characters unpopularity they re-wrote it so Batman got the penny from Two-Face.
You forgot the best quote, the one when he's talking to that gang leader (Rupert Thorne?). Here's the quote! Harvey: There's just one problem. Rupert: What's that? Two-Face: You're talking to the wrong Harvey!
I can't believe how good this show is. I thought it was great when I was a kid, now seeing it as an adult. Its still just as enjoyable but through a different awareness. The villains really are tragic, but understood.
"Let the law handle it." "The law!? Here's the only law: The law of averages! The great equalizer!" In many ways I agree to that when the law itself is blinded from the truth.
While I have my criticisms of The Dark Knight Returns I thought the idea of Dent not being able to cope with reconstructive surgery and having full body dysmorphia was a super captivating direction
Richard Moll. The... only version of Two-Face that has lasted in an animated series. I believe he was meant to be in The Batman but the Embargo put that off. (Although I believe he does make apperances in Brave and the Bold, and I think briefly in Beware the Batman).
Oh, if only his mind wasn't affected, then he'd still be a good person, long as no one treated him like villagers treat Dr. Frankenstein's creation, but of course it would happen. So, either way, he'd be a villain alas. However, either way, I'd be more than willing to talk with Two-Face.
I feel bad for two face because he's going to have that burnt face forever and his future wife died!!! isn't that devastating?????? poor Harvey!!!!! who else feels bad for Harvey??? an
I would have gone for Spectrum by the ALO, the Animal Liberation Orchestra, instead. The chorus goes, "Well I can disagree with myself 'cause sometimes I feel like me and sometimes I feel like somebody else." If that doesn't sound like Two-Face, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE HELL DOES! He has a split personality, the reason he never commits crimes without his coin.
if I owe that video I would put the part when two face smacked tim drake in the face that's what I liked about two face when he slapped robin III before he was robin III
I try to space out uploads of the same rouges gallery members but because I mostly have spidey and bat villains to do they will be uploaded with more regularity. Of coarse requests will get a character uploaded sooner rather than later.
i liked the animated series a lot only thing i didn't like was that his coin was quarter but i guess i was cool and two headed quarters prices are fair.
what would have happened if two-face had learned to master all the magic and also learn to master all the powers of dc and also learn to master all fighting techniques and also learn to master all styles of fighting and also learn to master all martial arts and also learn to master all weapons
I actual did not relies until now was that as seen his face was "normal". The reason he was hiding was because he saw the not deformed side as a monster not the burned one.
En verdad dos caras en la serie del anime hiedra venenosa lo enveneno y los medicos no pudieron acer nada le salio otra cara y asi se enstrensformo en dos caras
