You're actually IMO the best content-maker on Inkbound and I'm sure it'll buzz really soon, it's getting more streamed (Zerator, big French streamer, make a discovery video on it and really liked it), right now it doesn't even have an up to date wiki, once a community forms and get started newcomers will exponentially grow. I am glad I am not alone in thinking solo run have gotten increasingly difficult since the full release. The new final boss, I think is over tuned, but I am excited to see your take. Thanks for making vids of this game.
Ignoring the Blightcaster during the Rhinestone fight mentally hurt me. It sucks enough to kill him instantly and still have to deal with 2 permanent blight pools, I can't imagine not taking some damage to kill him and just dealing with ever increasing areas of ink. Also Warden (or at least damage reduction) should never be underrated, it rounds in your favour, so even 5% DR will make things like "Take 1 damage on orb pick up" deal 0. Good run in the end, I enjoyed!
This run is basically an example of what rolling bad augments does to a build. Fishing for a good shield wall augment all run, only getting it right near the end of book 2.

I am enjoying Inkbound but I definitely lose a lot on rank 20. It feels like I either scale out of control or just fail to get enough damage/defense, no in-between close matches. It will be interesting when you get to the Last Divinity equivalent boss. Also, Godkeeper is real fun to play, probably my second favorite after the Clairvoyant
The game is unironically hard! Don't beat yourself up over it. I actually talk about this in a later video, but I think the best players I know atm have a 6 win streak on r20 with the final boss right now.
I've noticed that I need a lot more damage early and need to really think about whether I'm strong enough to take red fights. I thiiiiink the misplays in the first run are not taking the physical damage to grind and taking the red fights without proper power. Also spikes can be strong but you do have to get hit to do the damage unlike poison/burn etc so I think it's something you transition into later after scaling other damage.
This is something I picked up on before the next episode after this one as well. Red combats truly are harrowing and you need to be very powerful to risk them in general.
Spikes is powerful and very consistent, but otherwise I think physical damage and Crush scaling are pretty much his only options. I think Essence of Quillion is pretty important to getting the powerful Spikes lines early, and anything else puts you at a big risk.
