Hello, I'd like to file a complaint about The Great Wanderer. It goes so hard I can't listen to it without singing along... BUT I CAN'T SING . Seriously, TGW and everything on Point of View is just great music that deserves to transcend the vtuber bubble, so let's all share it and help get it out there so it shines like it should. Also, this MV is a reminder that a simple lyric video can look like a million bucks

One of the (many) great things about Kiara's songs is how her slight accent sneaks into the English here and there. It's quite subtle but it's super endearing and adds a lot of character. Like the way she says "then" ❤

This song reminds me of the stuff from the mid-2000s, sort of with black and white visuals of crumbling buildings and empty avenues. The space theme was a surprise.

Oh, wow…! As a Holofan, 2023 has really spoiled me with the number of bangers these girls have released. And Kiara do not disappoint, I might even say this is one of her absolute best. Her singing is spot on, very beautiful and the art shown in the MV is fantastic. Outstanding work by everyone involved in this!!

Great wanderer and sleep talking are my two absolute faves of the new batch after DO U. This one in particular feels like a very emotional piece for me that I'd put up there with Hinotori for its message. Definitely a strong kinda warmth, Tenchou!

When I first heard all the new songs on the album I thought Retrospective would be my favorite out of the new ones. The Great Wanderer has solidified not only as my favorite new song, but it's also my favorite original song by Kiara overall. I really like the tech/cyber theme on this video too; I honestly don't see it often enough for my tastes.

Not just this song, or this MV but that whole album helped me expressing myself better. I have a habit of singing along whilst gaming in non serious scenarios (playing racing sims or casual playlists). My mates gave me really much feedback. They told me that they could her differing levels of expression for different songs. When I sang *Pineapple* in an already good mood it boosted my mood further and it became hearable, because my mates often already asked me "did something nice happen, you seem so much better rn". With Retrospective I could finally express all the pain and anguish stalled in my body, as my mates often thought I had a sudden bad happening, but I was just putting my whole heart's content putting into singing it. And yes, that meabs putting in my past emotional draumas. They said they could never have thought that I would get that expressionful, as I am usually pretty bland. The Great Wanderer, for me at least, especially associates with my dissociation disorder, which is caused by too high stress levels. When they happen, usually I wake up in the middle of the night, finding myself in a panic attack, (heavy breathing, high pulse, etc) bzt viewing it dissociative from basically a third person view. The "Walking by by familiar roads" is the part of my life of ever increasing stress levels, and the "fade away to the grey" makes the counter part of stress relief after I recovered from a panic attack, because I literally feel no stress at all for 2 weeks after that. I really have to say, that the MV really enhanced the feeling of the song, even tho it wasn't that much, I had goosebumps all the way through.

Between this and Retrospective, I still can't decide which one is my overall favorite. I absolutely adore the vocals in both of them, the extensive use of the lower range in particular.

The imagery that I see while listening: A lonely phoenix drifting through space and time, fond of the past memories that she couldn't let go, she attempts to relive them once again. Travelling faster than the speed of light she travels backwards in time. Countless memories flashes by, though at the same time they appear to be so slow, it almost feels like a different reality. Uncertain if she can ever reach her destination, she convinces herself that she is on the right path, and that she will get there eventually. In the silence of space she travels eternally, hoping to one day reach the light.

Edit : You know the feeling of listening to something that feels so heavenly, but at the same time, so uplifting? That was what I felt when I first heard The Great Wanderer. It's a song that talks about our eternal phoenix as she's lived countless lives, and as she continues to tread the lonely path of immortality, her only hope and motivation is to continually reach into our hearts, just as we do the same to pull her out of the void. I've listened to this song so many times...and now, having this amazing music video really adds to the majesty and mystery. I LOVE IT. I am so HAPPY TGW has its own MV - big UPS to everyone who helped make this song and this MV - AND TO our WONDERFUL phoenix boss for always casting a warm and gladdening light on our lives. 🧡🧡🧡🧡

TGW!! TGW!! The MV made it better imo. Back then the song makes me think of an explorer and wanderer, just wandering as modern people. Now, the MV with the futuristic gear on kiara, made the wanderer more "wandering", wandering the cosmos and exploring other places

Damn just now I realised how awesome this song is. Her voice really is great in this. This reminds me of some great EDM songs. Wish Kiara would do more of this sort of stuff.

I love how well her voice goes with this type of genre, and the beautifully illustrated music video depicting loneliness within cyberspace. Easily one of my favorite songs on the album.

This is absolute fire. I love when a vtuber pulls something different from the usual anime songs, you know, breaking the mold a little. But Kiara's versatility, able to sing J-Rock/pop to 80's pop, techno and now this sci-fi style, is something that definitely makes her stand out. She's on the right path to become an idol, but not the old usual ones, something different and new, and I love that.

Returning here once again, I'm constantly coming back to this song and mv not just for the sake of streaming but because I just genuinely love this song, it's my favourite song I've heard in terms of music in general for years.
