Olde school knowledge like Craig's should be valued and cherished as a national treasure.. Why on earth the education system does not utilise people like Craig to show our children the beauty and resources our tiny Island has to offer is beyond me.
Thank you for you well considered comment , it must be difficult to teach what I do in an inner city class room , however more can be done if the funding could be found to take pupils on this type of "school trip " regards Craig
The quality of these videos has skyrocketed this past year. Went from grainy video with poor audio and basically no editing to sweeping HD shots, clear audio, music, and just a massive improvement to everything without losing the heart of the channel. Awesome.
Many thanks for a great comment Pat, It is hard work and skill by my friends Jon Borg of Digital Tiger for the filming, production and editing and Jack of "Expedition Jack" for the opening sequence. Kind regards Craig
@@coastalforagingwithcraigev8447 hey bud, I'm just a random guy commenting, thanks to YOU for making what was already interesting content just that much more entertaining. Thanks to everyone involved in what's going on for that matter. There are many channels out there like this but I love the simple presentation of just what's going on, that was always what made this channel great. The leaps of quality in filming, editing, and sound make this a very enjoyable and soothing channel. One critique...more of the finished product and eating. The foraging and preparation are awesome, can we see a bit more of the food being enjoyed? Not like I'm gonna stop watching, just my opinion. Thank you for replying.
You could seriously open a restaurant with your level of presentation and cooking skills, especially considering you are outdoors and without much equipment!
This just got recommended to me and i couldn't be happier! Firstly brilliant channel, secondly this braught back fond childhood memories! Every year throughout childhood we visited Wales usually The Gower or pembrokeshire, and foraging was always part of our holidays. Wales to me is heaven on earth and any who live there are blessed beyond measure.
I think you were the first RU-vid forager! Since then, a couple more “British” foragers have appeared! This is not a competition as all of your work is fascinating, intriguing and delicious looking. Thanks for beginning the RU-vid foragers. You have made me a convert. Cheers, Colin!
Cheers Colin, thanks for a great comment, our other British foragers are doing a great job in promoting the diversity of our shores and it's conservation. I have found that this type of exposure brings in tourists from all over the world (I'm pleased to say in my case) which is great for the economy of the coastal areas, kind regards Craig
Thank you Branden, the introduction was filmed by my good friend Jack of "Expetition Jack " fame, he did an excellent job and this vwill now be the intro to the rest of my videos , regards Craig
Always a pleasure to watch your video, Craig. I wish I could go to the UK and see you forage and learn from you. Thank you for sharing these experiences with us.
I'm sorry for not posting , making / editing videos takes a lot of time /running foraging courses, however I intend to post every other Friday from now on , kind regards Craig
Great to see you and the puppy again Craig. You are a true master of your craft. Have you ever thought of doing a Colab with Smash Fishing? Keep the great content coming. And watching your videos always makes me want Sea Food.
Wow, I'm so happy the video and audio quality has gotten so much better! And the intro was amazing! I'm truly rooting for your success on this site, more people need to have your extensive knowledge
@@coastalforagingwithcraigev8447 omg 😍 you replied. I just admire how you're so knowledgeable on what you do. It makes me want to go out there and search for a wild garlic 😂 not sure if we have that here though 😁
I have watched all your videos Craig and only now found this one and I’m looking forward to more! Love living in Pembrokeshire it is indeed a beautiful part of the world!
Great to work with you on this episode Craig!! Was a fab day out and looking forward to helping you share your wonderful knowledge and expertise for many new videos to come :)
Wow, back with a bang! Not only a great day's foraging with plenty of gems of information but also delivered in a very well polished video. The audio, picture quality and editing on this has really done you justice. Thanks Craig.
This was great, RU-vid recommended your channel as I'm a bit of a foody. Know nothing about foraging though, but it's clear you do. I also liked some of your wisdom's, "Only take what you need" and there's something refreshing and honest about a man finding his own food. Gained yourself a subscriber, thanks for sharing. P.S - good luck in the rugby tomorrow. From an ecstatic English fan :)
Wow, the Intro is a great addition to your videos. The cinematography is amazing Craig! I have been watching your vids for a while now. I hope you continue to do what you love! Thank you. ❤️
What a beautiful video, my friend Paul from shore fishing Essex told me about your channel he said that you are the best foraging channel on RU-vid and I have to agree with him 100%, brilliant video and tonnes of really good information about our wonderful British coast and it's tasty inhabitants 😉🦑🦀🦐🐚🐟👍
Wonderful! Respectful of the environment and the resources we have. Very excited about foraging tomorrow!! A Christmas present from my wife last year. See you tomorrow Craig :-) Regards Anthony
Morning from Autumnal Devon Craig. Another fabulous Vlog, you explain the foraging so well. I will have a try for some clams down at Paignton, along with Razors. Thanks again. Rich
Great to see how much your channel has grown Craig, been watching since the first few uploads and they keep on getting better, thank you for your content!
I'm going to tenby in june and hoping to book on 1 of your foraging courses, it is literally 1 of my favourite things to do and enjoy learning from a pro! 👍👍
You will be made very welcome Michael, the course dates for next year will be available on my website www.coastalforaging.co.uk shortly , kind regards Craig
