I too grew up in the 80's and it was great, but everybody believes their generation was great especially the older they get. It is because we had no worries, no bills, no kids to take care of. The only problems we had were if we did our homework or if the girl, we were crushing on liked us back.

You're just getting old. All old people say that. When we're young everything is exciting and the future is bright. When we're old, been there done that, and the dark end is near. I wish the old would would actually be wise and stop projecting "aging depression" on the new generations. The world is theirs, we've had our chance. And they won't do any worse than we did. Usually better.
