What are truly greatest items added to animal crossing? We got ever game covered og gamecube, wild world, city folk, new leaf, new horizons, and even pocket camp.
Bit of a strange one... but the four leaf clover from Wild World. I LOVED that I could put it in my house and was an open book with the clover as a bookmark! Easily one of my favourite items of all time.
In terms of clothing, ACNH has so many good items, but the Mom's sweater (in all variations) is SO. GOOD. I love the knitted/handmade look it has - it really sells the idea that your mom made it just for you 🥺
I don't recall the name of it but it's the glowing moss wall item that you can change to be whatever design you want, so I usually make it so that there’s a door leading out to an outside wallpaper. it really opened up interior design for me
the glowing wall stickers are such great items!! i do something similar by making faux windows on a nature-themed accent wall, and i put wall partitions/columns to fill in the extra space where i dont want the window to appear
Misty garden accent wall+ faux windows/balconies using the glowing moss stickers became one of my signature design choices for basically every living room design I did
Back in my main switch island on acnh we had a snapping turtle sitting on the podium out front of the resident services, his name was "President bite cha' finger" I'm so glad he could have a freind.
I had snapping turtles everywhere, including one by the airport - don't remember his name, but he had his own sign an everything. There was also a turtle cult hidden in the forest - or, I suppose, in the Tiger Woods (and yes, there were tigers there lol) There were also several spider crabs hidden around my island, and horseshoe crabs invading parts of the beaches. Very good boys, loved belly scritches, 10/10
I'm playing city folk right now, and my theme for my house is just "massive headache" I just want any items that will make an obnoxious and irritating noice constantly, so those stars are currently one of my favorite since putting multiple stars down makes the theme play multiple times.
my favorite item in AC is definitely the science pod! I love that in NH you can put items in it. I know it was in new leaf as well but it went under a different name.
Gyroids were my absolute favorite thing to collect in animal crossing. New Horizons ones kind of ruined the fun of collecting my families of gyroids. I get they weren't all pretty but I loved them. I loved displaying them and turning them on so they made their funny noises. It was such a joy.
i love any furniture with a light, as well as the ICE FURNITURE. inspired me to make my entire island night/winter themed. if u want to visit my island it is only presentable in the winter at night. thats the rule
My island is designed to look best on early foggy mornings. It looks only great in the early foggy morning....which is like November to January maybe 😭
I have an army of snapping turtles on my beach - another great placeable creature in NH is the spider crab, they're HUGE and I put some next to those rescue mannequins so it looks like a bunch of giant crabs killed some swimmers
My favorite items are the ice items (some can look like sparkly gems) and the star items (that also includes the horoscope items but, not the space ones) Oooo i just remembered the glowing items too. Like the pond and just the moss itself. And the palm tree lamp. And the clothing item i love but, still refsuses to show up in summer is the shell dress. Not to be confused with the mermaid fishy dress. I could never get it in my shops but, i got a blue one from a balloon... I've been playing for 3 years
OMG yes! I love the mushroom items! My island is full of them! I have a sort of summer destination small town horror theme, and they fit perfectly! They also light up so it’s beautiful at night! And of course we love Froggy chair. Froggy chair is the best chair.
I don't have a switch. But I do play pocket crossing and have never spent a dime on it but have an insanely huge collection. Including the Farris Wheel. Lol There's no ads either. I mean eventually I think the items will be ported to New Horizons. I mean you can even cross pollinate plants on Pocket Crossing. You just can't terraform.
Vines / ladder set-up kits. Also, the egg party hat and dress (+stone-egg shoes). I could also include several other dresses and robes. And pochettes. Oh, wetsuits! Swimming and diving is great! The Cinnamoroll sofa is adorable. Seasonal/event items are great. The tabletop festive tree is pretty neat. I would keep going with things like food and how cardboard boxes are cheap and useful, et cetera, but I'll stop here lest this comment end up multiple pages long. I like items and Animal Crossing has some good ones. ...---the rattan furniture series. Okay, now I'm done.
Yeah, of course Pocket Camp have more updates. It's mobile cash cow designed to drain preople's wallets, so they need have constant updates to keep attention.
Lamps and the crescent Moon Chair are the best items, anything that glows is amazing. I am definitely a human and not a mothperson, please do not touch my antennae.
We’ll diss it all we want cuz we paid $60 for a game that never gets anything while the free mobile game gets all the attention, it’s ass backwards but that’s all these publishers care about. 😭😭😭
How is time travelling a detriment to the gameplay experience, but 'shopping' on an actual website from people doing the exact same thing isn't? AC fans' proclivity for making up self-imposed rules never ceases to amuse me
Because you have to farm bells (so play the game) to get them Also they're no "AC'Fans rules" You play the game as you want, just play it the way is fun to you To add details about the mushroom set, it's limited : everyday for a short time they're an amount of randoms mushroom spawning on your island Even by playing "fair" it's an item hard to farm if you want to have a mushroom island
