Does he complain about the suit being hot at some point? I think the suit theory is weak, I think my daughter’s theory is better which I haven’t heard in any of these videos. That’s Rover in the suit. Even the dialogue and attitude seems to be fairly consistent.
It would be nice if the next Animal Crossing had an option for if you want villagers to be rude or not. So younger players still can play and enjoy it, but people who want that experience can have it too. Currently for me, the villagers personalities are just set dialogue that each character with that personality will go through ad nausium. Nobody feels particularly unique.
Imo the right photo in the AC GCN poster always reminded me of Jolyne from JJBA, which considering the timeline of AC’s release and Stone Ocean’s manga beginning in Japan, makes some sense 🤔🤔🤔
I've played WW, a little of CF, a lot of NL (the GOAT), and NH. I don't remember ever getting the exact same dialog more than once in WW. But I think NH gets a bad rap sometimes. It is very repetitive but I've gotten some truly funny & interesting dialog (in particular from smug villagers. Peppy villagers get on my nerves alot lol)
i do get mad how they dropped support for animal crossing new horizons after 2 years while they're still supporting the weird mobile game. whos playing pocket camp in the 2020s?
Perhaps the humans in AC are primates of actual humans, or our form of human is now in the past (not too long ago, maybe like, 100 years ago in the AC universe) given animals have evolved in the game to be anthropomorphic and have their own societies now. Or, between anthropomorphic animals and humans (which are still animals), genetic testing was done to create new humans for whatever reason, maybe to make them more compatible with the other animals, science either done by other humans or the anthropomorphic animals.
i hate that nintendo basically stopped adding new stuff to new horizons, leaving it soulless. Comparing the hype of the game during covid, they could have made so much more.
20:00 Well i don't know. I'd say that it's 50/50 for me. Sure it would be interesting to see the animals have more personality and being more "rude" but when i'm playing i just want to relax and have a good moment. So seeing an villager coming up to me and just randomly insuting me and go back to watherver he was doing... I wouldn't be happy about it. I'm sorry if i'm annoying by saying that.
The Japanese name means "strange cat." In America, Rover used to be a pretty common dog name. A dog is a pretty strange cat. I also think it's a reference to travelling over land - you only ever see Rover while they're travelling, therefore they're literally a rover.
