For them it’s been a year or two, but for someone who’s been watching anime and reading manga since 2006, that one punch is collective of all the emotions we’ve been through for years Edit: i mentioned the since 2006 as a way to say that we grew up with it, not in terms of competition lol. And given the goal to defeat Kaido started in early 2012 (punk hazard manga), this punch holds weight to more than a decade’s worth!

A lot of people think Luffys dream is something along the lines of "I want to free everyone" but I think its the verbiage that stuns everyone and makes them laugh, this chapter/episode also shows us that Roger and Luffy had the exact same dream and we know Roger never intended to be Pirate King it just sort of happened. I genuinely believe their dream was "I will make an era where EVERYONE is a pirate". To Luffy being a pirate is synonymous with freedom and thats a goal only the pirate king can achieve, the wording would also be described as childish and make people laugh. I think its also huge to note that Yamato knows Luffys dream before any of the strawhats do. Then you got the name of his new attack, Red Roc, the name of the giant mythical bird that was the messenger of God. His fist delivered the message he is going to be the pirate king right to Kaido's big ass head. Fire, Cinema, Peak fiction, Kino, Literature, Art. Another Full Circle Moment! I see you guys noticed the Parallel of The Old and the New Eras colliding like Whitebeard, Oden & Roger to Ace, Sabo & Luffy. Also the Moment of Unveiling that Roger & Luffy Share a Dream, a Dream still untold to the One Piece Fandom. I can’t wait to find out what it is. But theres another moment that i loved when i read the Manga and they demonstrated very well in the Anime. We see Yamato & Ace talk about the Great Dragon Statue, Yamato knocks it clean off and Ace goes in with a Fire Fist to the Face of the Dragon Statue, melting the Statue down with flames so pure! Fast forward to the present time Luffy being the embodiment of Ace, not only for this sake but for Ace returning and taking care of Tama, Luffy rebelling against the Enemy of Wano Country but of Luffy being the one with a Flaming Fist to the side of the face of a Dragon, a Dragon we know as Hundred Beast Kaido to knock down the Ground and declaring the fall of the Dragon Statue, a symbol of Onigashima and Kaido the current symbol of Wano (Not Orochi lol). Kaido with a RED ROCK TO THE FACE is the equivalent of the Great Dragon Statue with a FIRE FIST TO THE FACE!!! Full circle moment that i loved!!! And its slightly not finished yet…. Theres still 1 more part to come based on what happened to the Dragon Statue… 👀 Stay Tuned Folks and i hope you enjoy catching up to the Wano Country Arc with the RTTV Fam.

you guys need to watch the 3d2y movie special to see luffys red hawks first appearance, its really just a homage to ace since he loves his brother and feels he is still with him. there isn't really an official explanation on why he can use fire but the movie shows how and when he first he used it and the situation he was in, so it will somewhat answer jerry's question on when/ how he learned to use fire. so you guys gotta watch that to see luffy using red hawk for the first time.

I definitely think when OP is all done, it could use a DBZ Kai treatment. No show needs to be over a thousand episodes, let's be real here. There are definitely some points where this anime can be condensed. I think it would make for a better-streamlined viewing experience and more eyeballs would tune in instead of being apprehensive. Yes, I have seen over a thousand episodes but there were many instances where it was a slog. Highs were very high but the lows are very low. It doesn't help that I started watching it as an adult either because I prefer more mature storylines (even as a kid I did as well though) but it's all fun at the end of the day. Glad the fans get to enjoy content like this for so long, very fortunate compared to the anime universe I enjoy the most.
