Please do more 1.6 videos. This game will forever be the best team-based competitive game of all time. The only game that could rival CS was Day of Defeat 1.3 (I could argue that it was actually better than CS) and Valve killed it. We had it all and we lost it. CS2 is a shame. I'm both nostalgic and pissed off.
*CS 2* - It will not be remember by anyone *CS GO* - toxic community + expensive skin *CS source* - everyone is too supportive + nice community *CS 1.6* - Ahhh!!! the good old days + epic wallbangs + nice & supportive community
You realize CS2 is orders of magnitude larger than 1.6 ever was? I'm talking 200-300k concurrent players for 1.6, while CS2 sits around a million at all times. Remembered by no one, pshhh. I say this as a 33 year old 1.6 enjoyer.
@@xorret1 I think no one will ever mention CS2 in like 20 Years. But CS 1.6 will come up with grandkids etc. The thing about CS2 is: most players are there for the content and addiction of lootboxes. Nothing else. Its become a trading simulation I reckon.
@@Prodogy2062Precisely, we played Counter Strike for enjoyment, there's no skins to buy or loot boxes to waste money on, just a great fun game that you buy once and enjoy forever.
That HeatoN vs 4K is the most iconic clip in 1.6 history. Second is his flash fake vs element 1v1 in nuke, and if im not mistaken they won the tournament 13 11 with that round.
Started playing with GO. Tried CS 1.6 because of friends in college. The movement is so smooth. And the de dust 2 here is so much better than the GO one
In 1.6 you only got 1 mag when buying a gun, if you wanted more than that you had to buy it separately. For example an AK was $2500 and each mag $80 so if you wanted full ammo it was a total of $2740.
@@1labhansh The USP started with 2 extra mags and 1 mag costed $25 so if you bought armour for $650 you could still buy up to 6 extra mags, but it was common to only buy 2 extra mags to save a little money.
@@1labhansh That worked in 1.6 too, but you could also buy individual mags with comma (for primary weapon) and dot (for pistols). For example buying 30 extra rounds for AWP was a waste of money since you don't need that many bullets for only one round.
