@@TheBinaryHappiness Yes of course, i'll just throw some numbers but i believe there is no one with more than 40 hours in kz that has never played goldbhop, it's like surf_beginner in surf and i believe everyone that played it somewhat seriously has tried to grind it for a good PB
Btw, topoviygus nickname from russian is "топовый гусь" (topoviy gus) which means "top goose" in Russian slang, used to describe someone or something excellent or outstanding.
Damn, dude, this is absolutely stunning! So much effort putted in, i love every aspect of this masterpiece. Sound design, motion design, cameras, overall edit, all of this is on highest level. You even changed aspect ratio on my bm to fit other parts of the video. So amazing. Great job, mate, you are the legend.
This is the only mod of this game that I truly hate to see any cheating of any kind. Don't care about pubs, 5v5s, hns, etc. This is the one mod where people require absolute skill down to the ms. I've done my fair share of bhop and kz, all I can feel is awe for the top players. It can be beyond nerve wrecking. EDIT: Not to mention this is the only mod where the community TRULY loves and cares about it for more than 2 decades.
This is the one mod where people require absolute skill down to the ms And a rig that can maintain a good consistent FPS :) Otherwise your bhop and strafe jumps won't be quick and long enough.
I remember watching shnz trying to beat the record and i was feeling soo high watching his godlike jumping the guy was soo chill .. i remember he got a bit tired of the map and we joined another server (not bulgarian) on i don't remember which map.. and it was full of people jumping but when they saw his nickname everyone moved to the spectators to watch him thats is when i get that he is not an ordinary jumper man was a fucking legend and i felt soo strange :D i remember kelta too if i am not wrong we joined a costum server with him and shnz told me to watch closely how kelta jumps and he told me this guy is insane .. and kelta answered back with the same for shnz :D i felt soo out of place there for some reason two legends i won't forget from my first days at kz/bkz :D
The level of quality in this 1.6 doc is truly remarkable! Well frikin done mate!! PLEASE make more!! There realy isnt a lot of these bhop docs out there, let alot of THIS quality!! Mad props for not slacking off near the end cuz of fatigue or such too! 🤙🤙🤙👌👌
I loved every second of watching this, what a breath taking masterpiece! I've never thought i'd see a 1.6 documentary made by a community member. This is legendary!
incredible documentary has a lot of history, I think this was one of my first maps with which I met kz, incredible map a lot of history and is still a map that always one enjoys. keep uploading videos, certainly some for people 30y this is beautiful, we grew up playing cs 1.6
Wow I remember playing this back as a kid like 10-15 years ago, I still love 1.6 over any other CS and this video with the quality and mirror effects of each players competing its amazing. This is very well done, Karl Jobst needs to see this since he covers a lot of speedruns on multiple games. The only thing missing to appeal to more broad audience that is not into CS is explaining the bhop technics, pre-strafes, strafes, momentum on CS engine and how to execute them, that's the only thing to get a perfect video.
damn never expected to see a video of this sort on something that nowadays is so niche, ppl actually forgot about it. CS 1.6 kz/bhop is still king and in my *very humble* opinion nothing comes even close.
This video is such a throw back, I remember spending hours on this map, I think I had somewhere between 2:30 and 3 minutes on this map, it’s bring back good memories and tears seeing it , nice video man ❤
Damn, this was epic! Seeing all those legends in one place makes me want to jump back into playing again! Thanks a ton for putting it together. We definitely need more videos like this, showcasing the awesome history of CS 1.6 kz/movement scene! You just got a new subscriber!
Whenever I was thinking about possible kz related documentaries, this is almost exactly what I imagined. The only difference being that instead of simple and clean edit, it is enhanced with your outstanding editing skills (but it still remains in that easy to consume simple&clean style!). Some of the campaths are breathtaking and in a lot of cases they are used in such a clever way to tell the story better, that it deserves a standing ovation. The way interviews, comments, storylines, newsposts, other movies are included in this, makes it really feel alive and deep. Fantastic to see that this video, even if mainly done by you, is still a combined effort of multiple people, responsible for script, interviews, stats, plugins etc. I'm happy to see that kz related movies like this start to appear, we had a video by Gorba, now this and I'm pretty sure this is just a beginning! ;) 1.6 Kreedz Climbing community deserves to have its history being told, over two decades of depth, storylines, rivalries and all kinds of stuff that happened and is still happening to this day is truly remarkable. Also bkz_goldbhop is a goated map and starting with its story first is a great choice. One more thing that I just want to point out is music - definitely some very smart decisions there, another impactful enhancer to the whole quality and the atmosphere of the movie. Overall just great! Thank you for this vid, much luv
I can't explain how happy i was to watch this video. I love this game so much and there is so much story behind it... As a gamer who played so many games of different types. I can say that KZ is the hardest PC game of all times. Really well done. Thank you !!!
Definitely there is space for improvement. Here are some points I saw: 17:28 - he can skip a block 17:31-32 - two blocks can be skipped 17:55? - Im curious if here it can be taken with bhop as well without stopping? 18:22 - he lost a little bit of speed after the hj and didnt skip the second block like in previous runs 18:25 - didnt make the last bhop between block section and stairs 18:27 - feels like last stairs weren't smooth Overall 3 seconds improvment and sub 1.22 time I think is absolutely achivebale but it requieres a lot of grind. Hope someone does it and showed us pure run.
Thank you so much for this video, there is lot of as who spend years and years on this map. I almost cried, thank you so much!!!!!!!!! (sorry for bad English)
I don’t usually leave comments on RU-vid videos but have to say this is one of the best CS videos I’ve ever seen, period! Got actual goosebumps while watching and hope soon Serbia reclaims the record as I am Serb myself. Heres to many more 💪
