Its here guys.. thank you all for tuning in on this masterpiece of a game. So many emotions and adventures, thank you Ubisoft. This was a true loveletter for AC Fans. I can't believe this all happened. I'll never forget this game for the rest of my life. Make sure to use the timestamps! Check description for previous parts if you want a look, love you guys. I go cry now about Nehal 🥺

The whole time Loki was reaching out to his reincarnated life Aka Basim Ibn’ Ishaq and he managed to restore his physical form in Basim and then eventually he took on his apprentice Hytham and they met Sigurd, travelled to Norway and met Eivor the reincarnated Odin who in fact was numero uno on his list of people to have revenge on which is why he stayed close to them for so long

I thought this was gonna be a clickbait overly emotive title, but it was refreshing to see it was a sincere and genuine reaction to the game. It’s clear you connected with it more than a lot of players, so it was really pleasant to see!

Bro what an ending.. my goodness. I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks this is one of the best Ac’s in a long time, At first I went into this with very low expectations because of the amount of people talking negatively, but I ended up genuinely loving it. The fact that basim goes from this innocent young boy with high ambitions who we could all relate to turns out to be a freaking reincarnation of Loki the god of mischief out of all people is a just a crazy cool concept to me. come to think about it even basim probably doesn’t even know who Loki really is. And that scene where enkidu scratches basim’s face indicates that’s it’s clearly not him anymore Loki has taken over. the little smirk he lets out kinda proves it further. Even though it’s kinda sad to think the real him is gone you have to admit that’s pretty badass

The Isu artifact is a Memory Seal, similar to the ones used by Altair in Assassin's Creed Revelations. Altair used these artifacts to record six crucial aspects of his life, which he then employed as keys to access his Great Library beneath Masyaf. It is worth noting that Altair utilized the Apple of Eden to aid his journey to Alamut's Isu Temple, where he obtained the six memory seals, granting him unrestricted access to explore the temple. The Alamut Isu Temple served as a significant Isu location where these advanced beings studied and documented memories from the past. The temple also featured mind-probing devices for interrogation, reminiscent of the one Odin used on Loki, as depicted in the recorded visions within the game. Furthermore, it's revealed in the game that Nehal is actually Loki, who assumed the guise of a normal female human in order to interact with Basim. Since Assassin's Creed Mirage mimicked Assassin's Creed 1, I believe the next game will be similar to Assassin's Creed 2.
@Alninio
@Alninio 10 месяцев назад
Appreciate the insight! my understanding of the seal was that its loki being beaten up by a prison guard, is that prison guard basically odin? And he wants revenge, what about Tyr? Has he done bad things to Loki aswell? basim and sigurd got along well in constanipole but I assume basim didnt know he was Tyr still?
@soyartu1499
@soyartu1499 7 месяцев назад
Now i get it. The jinni is actually the one torturing "loki" in the prision, and Nehal is actually loki. In Valhalla, Eivor could see Odin's memories as the norse mythology because that's the way her brain could understand them. Almost the same thing with basim, He sees the loki's torture and fear as the way his brain could get it, a Jinni. So, Nehal is what Odin was to eivor: Other person in the same body, in this case, loki.

Amazing reaction for an amazing ending. I hope we see Basim in the next games as the modern day character. He is the first character in awhile to be a main character in multiple games, and I love that.

This ending honestly left me wanting another Basim game taking place between this and Valhalla, in which you play as this “whole” version of him. I know it’s been a minute since Ubisoft has done a direct sequel to an Assassin’s Creed protagonist’s story and I doubt it’ll happen, but it’d be really cool, especially since he’s now motivated by himself and not solely the Hidden Ones.

I banged through Mirage in a long weekend as soon as it dropped. Just replayed it and I interspersed the replay with watching your playthrough videos - great to see how much joy the game brought to you and to see the perspective of an Arabic/Musllim player on the game. I can see why Ubi devs were watching your stuff. Whenever you replay it, here's a suggestion... I mixed the side quests and collectibles in with the main story (always do), but on the replay, once the game moved into the Round City, I stopped using fast travel to spend max time in that great city while it was still fully alive. After the death of Qahiba, as soon as I escaped the palace and cleared notoriety, I went back in to get the final book (it's in the palace and only becomes reachable once she's dead). Then I delivered the book to Al Jahiz (stopping off to pay a musician and watch him play) and went back outside to get the boat that's in the canal just beside where you meet Arib. The canal will take you all the way back to Nehal in Anbar and it's really worth it for the experience. Punting that boat through a landscape that now means so much (past the Caravanserai, for example), knowing you're near the end of the story...

I cried in the end! When Enkidu refused Basim (or what's left of him) because it knew that Basim is no more himself 😭 and Basim smirking when Rayhan said let's go after Rushan left also broke my heart! Basim was a great assassin.. but Loki waking up and turning the bad side in him really hurts 😭😭😭😭😭😭 What a masterpiece! A brilliant game hats off for Ubisoft 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I went into Mirage having played Valhalla for 560 hours, to 100% Sync/completion I might add including all DLC (I like Assassin's Creed), so I knew what HAD to happen to/with Basim at the end. I'd also had the Nehal twist spoiled for me (not the specifics though, just that she wasn't real). But fucking hell, the scene where Basim becomes 'more than a man' still gave me chills and made me teary eyed. While I don't know if it's the best, or my favourite, Assassin's Creed ending, it's definitely up there. Which is insane given, again, how much I went into Mirage knowing was gonna happen/be revealed. First Valhalla's Prologue made me full on cry, now this, damn you Ubisoft. 😭😭😭😂😂😂

If she had told him the truth from the start though, Basim would have been understanding - Roshan chose to not tell him so he felt betrayed, that's what drove him to that point - she wouldn't tell him the truth of who he was.

Nehal was Loki. Basim and Nehal merged and became one since Basim embraces his ISU past, and you can immediately notice his shift in personality and how his eagle even rejects him for he is pure Basim no longer

Just let me enjoy it? What's the problem? People have been consistently saying the game is bad and being pessimistic. I don't care. I love it. Don't try to shame me for enjoying it + the ending. AC Revelations ending was the best and mirage is 100% up there when it comes to the narrative on top of the fact it takes place in the Middle East and I'm Arab. This was way more to me than just another Ac game. Its the closest thing we've had to a classic AC game and it had story that I got very attached to. Your input is 0 value to me.

@@AlninioI feel you on this. Personally the game didn’t click with me, but I’ve enjoyed plenty of games that everyone else has called awful. People are far too quick to think something is bad just because they didn’t enjoy it. That’s not how media works.
