Wow! Plenty of good ones. Id say Marta of Brazil. Just the way she had skills, moved the ball, could fool and "bait" the defenders- as they called her "Pele with skirts'". You don't get that nickname for no reason. I have yet to see others move the ball like she does. On the American team- Id say Akers. She was the physical and stamina to create plays. A good PK kicker too. But remember, there are plenty of good ones and plenty more talent to come to!
Abby Wambach is 100% the GOAT. Not only does she have the most goals, but she DOMINATED 2.5 generations of football. She also has an overwhelming head to head win ratio over Marta. It genuinely sucks that Marta’s prime just so happened to coincide with Abby’s, because without Abby, Marta would’ve actually had a shot at being the GOAT.
