I would love for this to be a permanent game mode. It would be a lot easier to introduce friends into yugioh if they could actively play a slower format like Edison or GOAT online with me! At the very least, it would be nice if they could implement the rules into custom rooms, so my friends and I wouldn’t have to look up the specific banlist, or have to remember the extra draw for the turn 1 player.
@@Sharingan1989 The six sam mode that they can't monetize and literally has a set meta? I'm not seeing what you're seeing. Only formats that can grow would have a chance. The N/R mode at least gets cards added to the card pool constantly, but again, how does Konami monetize N/R's? It sucks cause it's the best mode but they're clearly focused on profit with the advanced format.
@@bobby45825 they can. I don't even have a stardust dragon, nor six sams, nor blackwing amor, nor ANY of the important 2010 cards like star eater. Everything can have a price, if justified and fair.
I completely forgot we had the same favorite deck. Six Sam was the last deck I played before dropping out of the game. Before the extra support came out with the XYZs and such.
I had this same deck irl and right before I stopped I threw in some utopia XYZ monsters and a couple of junk sycrons for shites and giggles. It was still an OP deck for it's time.
For the trial duel, I played Fabled. I built a modern version on a whim. Turned out, most of the deck could be used in this event, so I just went with slower version that uses a bunch of discard traps. Raigeki-break doesn't neg when pitching the fabled monsters, so if I didn't open the gas I'd set a bunch of traps, blow up my opponents stuff next turn, summon Ragin once or twice to refresh my hand and win. If I did open gas, I'd draw a bunch of cards from my deck, end on stardust or trishula with some backrow. It was jank, but fun.
They need to make this a format. For players like me that barely play master duel I never have the cards to make a deck I want to play for these limited events. There’s no reason to grinding out some URs just to make a deck for an event that’ll be over by the time I have the cards I want for it. Yugioh isn’t big enough to be spending money on cards except for the most hardcore of players or content creators that make the money back. At least make an option where you have access to all cards in customs with friends or something.

If you're gonna throw shade, be original, don't use seereaxs insult as your own. And six sams are no where near a 2010 snake eyes 😂. Need 2 cards where one can't be searched, compared to one card which can be searched. Remember x saber was also a thing before six sams, and we're alot easier to play as you didn't have to rely on a spell

There’s no Link monsters in this mode. And still just summons monsters on Zones No 1, 3 and 5….. like why bother have Zones No 2 and 4 around……. Might as well cut those Zones off SMH
now if only sam can put that same love into the Six for an updated Playmat/deckbox. Oh, and while im at it, maybe play a 2024 comp version in MD. But wait. He's everything else but. lol.
See this game is so stupid like hell, it's this sort of wtf ever I'm not even going to play the dumb loop and it's the ss that made me love this game. See it's always in the cards. Why not just have a fake effect that says AE86 counters does whatever I don't even care.
Well, I ran into Exodia a number of times so it gave me the idea to run an Iron Chain deck destruction theme deck with Skull Invitation for added pressure. But now I'm on a Spell Counter deck.
I steam rolled that whole game with my Sam deck, it was way ahead of its time. The only thing that could fill the field faster was the red eyes dark metal dragon deck.
I enjoyed figuring out what do with the Dragunity loaner deck as i played. Almost got 3 wins in a row. but not knowing about torrential tribute, whilst trying to avoid bottomless trap hole and seeing if i could get an early-ish win, lead to an eventual defeat of the duel when my lv10 synchro dragon, that can multi attack if you destroy your other cards I forget the name of it, got beat over by a E.hero Shinning with double Honest buffs haha
Doubt: I had 'junk giant' which has the condition ' if your opponent controls a level 5 or higher monster you can special summon this card(from your hand)' . It was my turn and the opponent had 'galaxy-eyes solflare dragon' and 'number 38 hope harbinger dragon titanic galaxy ' . The effect of junk giant was not activated, can anyone tell why? Another doubt: I had lefty driver, righty driver, formula synchron and Stardust charge warrior. It was my opponent's turn and a chain occurred so I used the ability of formula synchron but I was only getting option of synchro summoning collosal fighter. I had lv10 Stardust chronicle spark dragon and lv10 Stardust warrior also lvl7 junk berserker and many more. Why was I not able to summon those?
Just make formats permanent!!! Majority of Yugioh fans just want to play GOAT or Edison anyway! I feel like Konami doesn’t want to support formats because they know the current format nobody really wants to play
This event was ruined for me because I wanted to play Cyber Dragons and VWXYZ but they gave the Hero themed loaner decks Two Cyberdragons for no reason and then three Fortress Dragons just because of the two Cyber Dragons even though there wasn't a single other machine or cyber themed card. 70% of my games I was getting my board Lava Golemed into oblivion. What a disappointment.
I look forward to everyone of your videos. I must give you a huge thanks for opening my eyes to the Horus engine. I have since bought all of the Imsety cards. So much fun!
