The six again backtrack call in the 2019 gf is an all time blunder. In such a tight match, to reverse a decision like that, is absolutely diabolical. Especially when the players are obviously going to take the tackle. Complete sh*t show.

I watched the 2003 GF as an 11 year old kid live and still to this day it is etched in NRL folklore as one of the most iconic moments in sporting history, an unbelievable moment to witness in time. The Rabbitohs waited 43 years to finally win another premiership and the first under the NRL competition. The 2019 GF was a cracking game before that refereeing blunder completely destroyed it and tarnished the game and the result. At 13 years of age in 2005 I remember I was playing Prince of Persia Warrior Within on the PS2 before my old man came over and told me to switch it off and come watch the GF, another iconic moment with the Benji step and flick pass that has been brought down through the generations that all kids wanted to re-create. 2015 can arguably be considered as the greatest GF of all time between two all-time great QLD rivals. From the try on the full-time siren, to the missed conversion from JT, to the traumatic dropped ball from Ben Hunt to the from a captain to a legend and possibly rugby league immortality field goal moment.

The tigers benji flick pass is good, but JT gets taken out very late after kicking, he would've been right in front of benji, there wouldn't have been room for him to slice thru. No one ever says anything about it, have a look.
