After al these years, this scene from Web of Shadows still gives me goosebumps! Checkout what I think is the greatest moment in Spider-Man: Web of Shadows of all time!
I loved web of shadow but my favourite part was seeing all the symbiot versions of people like black cat and wolverine and then you had different abilities if you were in basic suit or black suit it was such a good game I wish they’d make a second one so bad
I’M SO GLAD YOU SAID THIS BECAUSE GUESS WHAT!!!???? You know the game Prototype? Well that was actually supposed to be a sequel to Web if Shadows, before it became it’s own IP.
@@duplicarus I mean prototype slapped and the 2nd one I enjoyed as well so I’m happy about that to be fair though that’s another game I wanna see come back as well cause 1 the second game ended on a slight cliff hanger and 2 it was soooo fun just being the prototype and the powers and the different monsters it was great
As a kid who loved the Sam Raimi movies(yes, even 3) I never thought I’d get to see a symbiote suit spider man fight Venom. Not until I saw this game. What a trip!
No one can convince me that Peter's skull did not have at least a few cracks in it, before the symbiote started to bond with him once again. I heard cracking sounds every time this cutscene plays.
@@promasterchannel6587 nah there's a very distinct light crunch sound at precisely the moment where you see venom squeezing, and I know it's that because because the next sound is the symbiote splitting which sounds different
@@JayBomb21 No I enjoyed that game no doubt but the only thing they did better than Web if Shadows was Web swinging and Marvels Spider-Man 1 did that. I want an actual Web of Shadows sequel I get your just joking around or whatever but yeah Web of Shadows is still leagues above MSM2
the nostalgia is real this feels like just yesterday get ready to feel a world of pain that awesome face and voice best spiderman game ever with one of the sickest underrated designs
This game has the Best action in all spider man games to this Day. Even than Marvel's spiderman and miles morales. The thought of punching hundreds enemies trowing cars , peoples, enemies tho the sky , the destruction you can cause even to buildings and etc . Love it all and have this game even to this Day.
Yeah but the allies though, luke cage is the best ally we have, can literally two shot symbiotes and is a lot effective... The darker path didnt have much damage inducing allies except the rhino though black spidey with those tendrils look badass asf🔥
@@edman9953 I lost count on how many times Ive finished the game, but Ive got every cutscene based on choices and gotta say Spidey choosing felicia over mj made me smile.... And that symbiotic black cat(after spidey ressurect her) made me simp when I was little😁 man, good times
The entire game was fire. I loved the Vulture fight, the Wolverine fight, the Simbiote invasion, when society started to go South, King Pin's attack, and making peace between the Gangs with Luke Cage.
Black suit spidey is my favorite superhero suit all time Can’t wait to play as him in Spider-Man 2 late this fall on the PlayStation 5. It truly will be an epic single-player adventure.
@@jackson3475 when i saw that cutscene for the first time as a kid, i thought there was a bug in that cutscene that makes wolverine's legs come out of the other side of the screen bc he doesn't fit the screen lmao. Never thought spidey would rip him apart
I like how the premise of this game is basically venom stopping venom from being too evil with Eddie at the helm and knowing who would be able to kick his own ass
An error most definitely but you could take it as the symbiote was separating from Eddie for a sec before bonding with Peter. Hence why it wasn’t a full “we”
I'm sad they turned it into a goofy meme, I always loved that intro. My father is a classical music fan, and when he heard the song and that I liked it, he said "That's Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata", and that's how I started to really plunge into classical because it sounded cool to me with that game.
As a kid growing up I loved this game. I especially loved that u could click the right stick anytime you wanted to switch right between versions of spideu
I love Ultimate Spiderman because it shows Parker's dad as a scientist who coded his DNA to the Symbiote and without him know Carnage grew inside him as well. You have to play it to understand its been years since I played it but a great game.
as a kid i loved this game but it was so scary to me as a child. Seeing your childhood hero's get taken over by symbiots and having to fight them. As a kid, the wolverine symbiot was the hardest and scariest one of them
Although I’m certain that “Marvels Spider-Man 2”, releasing this Fall, will absolutely be crowned the champion of the best ‘Spider-Man’ video game ever. I say that because “Spider-Man: Web of Shadows” was a mind-blowing experience, & has been tied for my #1 favorite ‘Spider-Man’ video game (excluding “Marvels Spider-Man” & “Spider-Man: Miles Morales”) alongside the EXTREMELY UNDERRATED “Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions”. So it’s really cool to witness the re-adaptation of this story (as it relates to the ‘Symbiote’ & ‘Venom’) in such a way that it BRILLIANTLY remains fresh, exciting, & mind-blowing.
Yeah I remember playing this game when I was about 5 and just having so much fun playing on someone's PC in my family and the swinging animation would be so satisfying. Truly one of the more underrated games out there.
@@lucasprado1777look up on google “Spider-Man web of shadows Gabriele Dell Otto Spider-Man mod GameBanana” like this and you should find one for venom, one for black suit and one for the red suit which has different variants but the one in the first pic is the one in the video.
This to this day is the best Spider-Man game I’ve ever played, an extremely good story with a great combat system and I really liked the web chain attacks and throwing people off of buildings 😂😂
Because gameplay, story, and even character wise it’s much better than marvel Spider-Man 2 in many ways depsite being a 2008 game. Trust me when I tell you it’s the truth I played and finished it marvel Spider-Man 2 it is a solid safe game that brings forward no new ideas and is apparently a very woke buggy mess of a game. That wasted a lot of potential with its sequel still a good game but it’s definitely not as good as this game in certain aspects.
At best it's not medicore it's above that but the the gameplay is absolutely fun and solid so called realistic elements are not really fun as much as you think @@fymeuros
The graphics look like a child made them compared to the new Spider-Man 2 but back then when i first played this I thought these were so good. Crazy how things can always be better.
This was one of my FAVORITE games back in my childhood days and I remember playing as venom in one and wishing for another and they came out with this and you could fight a symbiot possessed wolverine and black widow and others that other games have never done. Its awesome ontop of the choice making and good side/ bad side decisions the game gives you making you pick black spiderman or regular suit spiderman behavior. You can even end the game as a bad spiderman and leaving MJ for black widow and owning the city . Or save everyone and stay with mj and stay friends with black widow. Its so cool. Black widow really does fw peters feelings tho with her kink of wanting to fw a superhero like her . Reminds me of batman and catgirl .
I love scenes like this where the do-gooder hero taps into their inner aggression mode. Raiden in Metal Gear Rising also comes to mind. I remember playing this but not much. Think I borrowed it from a friend. I did the Noir parts but dunno why I stopped. Time to go "find" this and give it a real chance.
Regular Spider-Man: *still sees Eddie as a person he can reason with* "No, Eddie." Black suit Spider-Man: *sees Eddie as a target to be destroyed* "Venom, get ready for a world of pain!"
The game was a little buggy and some of the mechanics were undercooked… but as far as story telling and world building goes, this was the best Spider-Man game. Closest Marvel has gotten to capturing the magic of the Arkham series.
I love how Venom slightly crushes his Skull just so he stops foghting back, and then the Symbiote bits that still Love Peter jump off of the Rest and Bond back to Peter, instantly healing him while he frees himself and is covered by it
I’ve never loved boss fights as much as in this game. The Vulture fight in the sky, the huge ass Venom, Wolverine, and of course the throw down with Venom in the road. It’s a huge brawl and the environment explodes around you as you fight. It’s unapologetically like a comic book, even in the mostly cringy dialogue.
When I first saw this scene/game I thought this was absolutely amazing in terms of graphics… But now compare it to the new Spider-Man game… Especially the remastered game…literally ANY frame in the PS5 remastered version completely destroys any part of this game in terms of visuals!
