*Title: drug tested
Last week we saw Austin Perkins compete at USAPL Raw Nationals 2023, where he historically totalled 851kg at 74.24kg - beating Taylor Atwood for the highest ever drug tested DOTS and IPF GL points from any Powerlifting competition.
This is a USAPL record in the 75kg class, and also beats Russel Orhii’s record total in the 82.5kg class (843kg). This also beats Taylor Atwood’s highest 74kg total of 838.5kg (but weighing 0.24kg over the weight class).
Watch here all nine successful lifts that lead to this total.

Can’t believe he totalled more than Russ in the 82.5/83s 🤣 Beat every DOTS/IPF GL points of all federations, even feds with knee wraps and deadlift bars, completely insane. By the far the most best meet performance ever, sorry Taylor

Bro you sound goofy as hell cus Russ set that record years ago like really bruh⁉️ like yeah you really on some real casual fk shit my boi‼️ Everything Austin did was amazing like that part was hella obvious but... Russ Squats is creeping up to the 800's, his Bench is creeping up to the 500's and his Deadlifts is creeping up to the 800's‼️ Lastly, I find it funny that every powerlifter is making a name for themselves once Russ stops competing...🖕😂

Can someone explain to me. I’m from the UK and relatively new to powerlifting. At a UK national we can’t break world IPF records right? So how does Perkins competing at a USAPL event break a world record or am I missing something here? Remember I’m new to this…insane lifting regardless!
@Fitzz1919
@Fitzz1919 9 месяцев назад
He’s in the USAPL which isn’t part of the IPF. PA or powerlifting America is the official IPF federation of america. He’s setting world records within the USAPL because this is their highest level of competition similar to IPF worlds. Also people often refer to world records even when they aren’t officially being broken to heighten the stakes for that lift.

@@WhiteLightsMediatested doesn’t mean natural. People have been skirting tests for decades in strength sports.
