Nice modest collection. I like the fact you're a collector that actually want's to play your games rather then collector that's really a hoarder in disguise that only looks to fill shelves with games they will never play in hopes of feeling some sort of accomplishment.

7:00 Phantasy Star is the greatet 8-bit RPG ever made. A timeless milestone. An amazing game in every aspect. It has beautiful animated backdrops, animated monsters, smooth 3D dungeons in fullscreen, huge game worlds to explore, a main quest, side quests. The game gets more beautiful every year that passes!

I think games look so much better when stored vertically. rather than horizontally. It also makes it easier to pull one off the shelf, or put it back up.

You can definitively capitalize this better by going more in depth with the games, showing more games and splitting it in indefinite number parts. Talk about your thoughts about each game you have and show some of your gameplay while you're at it. :D

Dude the fact people have to call you out and say this isn't the greatest collection etc. Honestly that is messed up. I appreciate people posting videos of their collections. The point of this video in my opinion is to share content that we all can look at and enjoy. GamingTheSystems: Retro just ignore people who post that stuff. If they want to argue about technicalities they should find another place. I apricate you posting your collection. Seeing comments like that when trying to do RU-vid full time has to be discouraging. In my opinion, you have one of the best collections I've ever seen... I also see that you focus too much on negative comments... Maybe those people who say negative things about the collection you have is because they don't even reach 10% and so you don't feel bad they say that... I love Apocalypse, finished it when it was released and replaying it at the moment, the soundtrack is nice and I find the mindless shooting very relaxing (same for rhe original Contra whixh some ppl find weird but this is what happens when you play it as many times as I did)

You could start making top10 videos, I always love watching top10 of anything. I'm specially interested in top10 16-bits videogames. And then you could move to top10 genesis games, top10 beat em ups games, top 10 coop games, etc...

Fun fact about nuclear strike and future cop LAPD; when you beat nuclear strike the ending has a teaser of "future strike" which has the same mech from Future cop LAPD. But as you said it spun off into its own series. I kinda preferred the name Future strike more.

Alladin on the SNES was suprisingly amazing! My roomate picked it up when it came out and i thought he was nuts for getting it...I was waaay wrong. Uni-Racers was also an awesome hidden Gem that he picked up.

The first Red Faction, for me, was just as important to fps games as Goldeneye was on N64. My brother in law and I spent a few years playing red faction together. The good ol' days.

I really enjoyed blade force on the 3do. Once you get the hang of the controls and what you need to do. It definitely had me hooked. Great, if you dig on chopper games.

The prize of your game collection is the Sega Genesis. I takes up almost 2 full rows of shelves. How many genesis games have the manuals? It seems like out of the box game and manual that the manual is the hardest one to find. Its cool to see a whole wall of retro games. Thanks for sharing.

My favorite Master System games were Wonder Boy 3 (Dragon's trap) and Mickey Mouse in the Land of Illusion. Both are Metroidvania style.

You should find a way to display all of the extra hand-held games in the closet. Possibly find a way to organize the boxes and controllers. Maybe a rainy day experiment?

Apocalypse is not based on a specific movie but it feels like you're playing a movie with Bruce Willis in it. It's a well designed game, long fair(in difficulty) levels with awesome boss battles, several weapons you collect as you progress. I almost got to the end of it but it got too difficult and I moved on to other games.

I see you have labels on your N64 games. Where did you get them? I bought some on Amazon but they came bent and do not stick well. Also it didn't have all the games I own, my n64 collection has maybe 20ish games.

If you don't have it, you should check out Tron: Deadly Discs on the 2600. It plays similarly to Berzerk. Really fun game.

Love Gyromite, it can be played with two players with controllers. I play it with my nieces and nephews and they control the obstacles and I control the guy and I fake freak out when I'm squished and they about die laughing. I guess I don't like the game, it kinda sucks, but I love playing it with kids.

Aww you did not mention your copy of Grind stormer. What a great game. I loved all the clamshell genesis games. It was such a shape when they moved to cardboard and even started to cheap out bad with all black and white manuals with cheap paper. Oof no love for the Guardian Legend? Wow you have a really nice 7800 collection. Lot of the best games for that system. Nice Tg16 stuff. You should look for Aero Blasters. YAY Shadowfox GBA cases. I did the same thing. I don't collect cardboard boxes that much and prefer clamshell cases. I am ok with green label PS1, but not those god awful PS3 and ps4 Red cases. Stop that Sony! Loved the Dreamcast. Phantasy Star Online is a good game. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
