well you could probably hold your breath for 10x as long while laying in your bed watching a youtube video than you could if ur bones were being crushed as u were getting thrown around like a rag doll by these waves...
@@TheFreshWaterStudios these waves are big enough that getting crushed under one can pop your ear drums and temporarily make you lose sense of direction. Up won’t feel like up. You can also lose your hearing for a couple hours. Just gotta inflate your life jacket and hope
Maya Gabeira was very very close to die. But broken bones and a lot almost drowning... They have one ambulance in the shore (coast guard) to help the surfers who need medical assistance, and always there all winter. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EZdOW2yStu0.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iCTApPTZ6PQ.html And even jet-sky drivers can lose their life. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g53q1BXV9Xo.html
If you think about it. These are the largest waves on earth, and these madlad are trying to ride them. What would have happened if there was a place on earth with 100m+ waves? I would bet they'd try as well, i wouldnt bet on their lives though
I was there 1 week in july or maybe august 2018 surfing ..this surfspot is damn creepy 😅 there is dust coming out of nothing over the hole spot several times a day ..I still don't know why..but after maybe 10minutes the dust is gone and the locals goes out surfing again..the waves weren't that big but fucking powerless..hardest washmashines of my life😂
