This is one of those times where I would lose and feel absolutely wonderful that I lost to this conundrum of a crazy card combo. I love the mentality of this guy. He knows he's gonna get stared at and judged for his love of cardboard games. So he's went, "Well, if I'm going to get teased and laughed at, regardless of what I do, let's crank it up to 11! Let's give them a real show to remember!" And by Jobe, 11 years later, this show still lives on. We are cringe, but this fella was free.

I always want to play players like this because I want to lean into the fun with them. Too many people are such try hards and can't just have some anime fun. We're playing a nerdy card game already, just EMBRACE THE MEMES! Love this guy, keep on keepin on bud!

I am adult, 27, working 13 hours 5 days per week, had luxury apartment, own a business also also people often i really live my life rather the nerd on the video but yet i had deppression and never smile like him. Cynicism and skepticism about our childhood experienced really make us the most boring creature. Fame, rich, and power will be nothing once we had been lay 6 feet deep inside the soil. All what we done soon or later be forgotten. I believe beneath our adult mask, deep down inside, there is something childish we want to do.

For those who don't get how he won: He drew his entire deck while putting 30+ cards in the gy. He also had to get a bit lucky with some coin flip cards that draw. In the end he activated blasting the ruins which inflicts 3000 damage if you have 30+ cards in the graveyard. He also previously activated a card called upstart goblin which the cameraman asks about which draws him a card and gets his opponent 1000 life so with 3 blasting the ruins he inflicted exactly 9000 damage (you start with 8000) Also he's having the time of his life any idiots telling him to get a life are hella insecure, go find a hobby

Look, not gonna lie, Most of these card shop players take the game SO seriously and NEVER smile, its refreshing to see someone playing YuGiOh and actually look like they're having fun

In school I was labeled one of the “cool” kids. I would go to school 30 minutes early for a morning duel before the bell rang. A lot of the other “cool” kids would make fun of the kids who played duel monsters until they seen me with a deck of my own. Next thing you know, the same kids that were making fun of the duelist were coming up to me with yugioh cards like “bro, is this a good card?” 😂😂😂

I dont know what he did but holy shit that was better than the anime

We had a guy like him at our local hobby shop tournaments way back in the day. He was an extremely good burn deck player. Dude just knew the ins and outs of every single card in his deck and what the best combinations were to play so defensively. You were forced to play aggresive due to so many cards where damage potential increases every turn and what not (mainly stalling for wave motion cannon), but he would then counter your attacks repeatedly. The best anti burn I found is to try to focus on life point protection and cards that destroy spell and trap cards. You HAVE to get those kinds of cards off the field as quickly as possible, otherwise the damage output will take you out fast.

This guy is having the time of his life duelling, and it’s honestly amazing to watch.

I actually met this guy in Martinsburg WV card shop. He’s a local at that shop and he’s actually a very genuine dude. Obviously a little nerdy but very kind and honest. And also the greatest duelist of all time! #BlastingTheRuins
