You will find this funny but I enjoy the quiet pauses here and there where you are just knitting (or etching or whatever) and I am just knitting too. Your episodes are gentle and quiet and peaceful and I enjoy them very much. Thank you Katie 💛

Thank you for another great episode, Katie, and for the chart marking tip!! Makes perfect sense, going to do that from now on.

As always, I enjoyed this episode. I agree with Linda S. who finds your episodes gentle, quiet and peaceful: something I need in my life! Anyway, thank you for the game changing tip on color work charts. I always put the highlighter tape below the row I am working, for color work, lace and cable charts. I will give your method of putting the tape on the row above what I am working as it makes so much more sense as you can read the row below what you are working! Wishing you great success at the festival!

Hi Katie. Each episode is so calling to watch. Jack, I must say, stole the show this time. He is so adorable!! The cowl is wonderful and such a special gift. Your frog sweater is going to be amazing. I too love frogs and found a crochet frog pattern that looks very good so want to try it. I however have some thinking to do about the yarn. I don't want smooth cotton. It is not frog-like. Your artwork process for the new tea towel is fascinating to watch. I never would have imagined you could change an area like you did.

I so love you and the love you have for Jack, he is a little darling dog, and so precious. I relate to animals more than people, and when I lost my Charlie dog of 12 years, it broke my heart in two, and I have never mourned the passing of anything, as I mourned the passing of him. But I now have a beautiful black rescue greyhound, called Madge, who is very independent, but after3 years she is enjoying my cuddles more I think?! I am a creative soul, but have lost my mo jo in the past 6 years. I love watching your videos, thank you. xxx

Thank you for explaining how to make a correction on the scratch board… the new tea towel design is looking so cute. Also, thank you for explaining your plying technique… very ingenious. The resulting yarn will be lovely❤️❤️

The last time I had enough part skeins to make a rainbow pair of socks, I pre-joined the wool, weighing each bit, then dividing into 2 and winding the joined colours in separate cakes for each sock - hurrah, no ends to weave, and the ''stripey' result matched pretty closely in each sock.

You epitomise a perfect afternoon for me - dog walk, calm companionship and some crafty endeavours. I love your tips on stranded colour work and the washi tape tip, I’ve always refrained from putting the washi tape because I want to read my last row of knitting and can’t bear to obscure it… your method is genius! Thank you for sharing

This was delightful. I am so smitten with your chalkboard sheep design. I hope to get a towel eventually if the shipping to US isn’t prohibitive. The cowl turned out beautiful! Not my colors either but they look smashing together. Frog jumper is so good too. Jack is such a doll. My dachshund does same thing; whenever I knit she is right next to me. Such a joy and comfort. Thanks Katie!❤

There’s a RU-vid video by Stephen West where he demonstrates the ‘Weavin’ Stephen’. It’s a very easy technique where you weave in the ends as you’re knitting. Eliminates the weaving at the end of the project which I dislike as well.

I had to turn and fondle my little dog when you were stroking Jack. Such tender moments! I love your cowl, and your frog jumper is going to be brilliant. I can’t wait to try holding both yarns in my left hand for colour work. I am a continental knitter, but at the moment I am throwing one colour and I struggle with tension. This might be the answer! Thanks for this lovely episode. I love the music, too!

It's always nice to see a new episode is waiting. Lovely finish and your frog jumper is smashing. Where did you get that green carry box that was by your chair? It looks quite sturdy and covered with fabric. I am glad spring has finally started to make an appearance. We had a long tough winter. I had always wondered if there was a way to fix a mistake on the scratch board. That tea towel is going to be very cute! xx

Just ordered a tea towel from your Etsy store. So happy to have such an accessible way to have your art in my home. Two questions: would you consider doing a mittens knitting pattern with Lord of the Rings motifs similar to the one you did for your partner? Second, do you know Bothy Threads? They are in Wales, I believe, family business and beautiful, yummy fiber and kits. Thank you for sharing your time with us.
