The late Tony Greene was very strong Christian man of God. He sang til his dying days and preached about the CROSS. He had an anointed voice that will ushers you into the worship. RIP!
Tim and Kim and Taranda sang this at Tony's gravesite overlooking the beautiful mountains of Boone, and it "Sure Sounded Like the Angels to Me." GOD bless you dear Greenes...thank you for ministering to us in your sorrow and pain...we love you all and will miss Tony very much, until we are all reunited with him with and our LORD JESUS CHRIST!
I remember seeing them when they were very young and this was the lineup. They were blessed then and I am sure that they are blessed now. May God provide Paece and Love in their time of loss.
This was one of my Daddy's favorite song. He never could remember the name of the song and he would just tell my sister to sing that Angel song. Daddy now knows what the Angels sound like. Tony and Daddy are shouting and having a great time. Daddy pastored the same church for 28 years until passed away, HoneyCreek Missionary Baptist Church. This group of the greenes was anointed from above, they sang with passion for their God. Not surprised on the attack by the enemy on this family. All the same those who live in his will always conquer. The enemy has been defeated in Calvary, he lost his key.
Rodney Crosby I have seen angels when I would be very ill. They were there, but not a word was spoken. One did lift her hand and give me the hushing signal and I went to sleep and when I awoke, I felt am little stronger than the day before. I thank God for sending sweet angels when I just don’t think I can make it another day with the many illnesses I deal with daily. Thank you Heavenly Father for Your promise of healing!

Allow me to make an observation. Kim, here, was so fresh, innocent, and there was a beauty about her. Her voice, already amazing, would mature and develop with time and experience. But, to my mind her expressions became over done, over emphasized when she sang, as she grew older. All these gospel women, almost without exception( except Connie) over make up, spoiling there already lovely features. They become overweight, (thats normal.among them, sadly), distorting their features. Its quite comical sometimes, becausd they develop chinese like eyes, when they smlle, as the eyes stretch out of shape. Dont get me wrong, I love the eastern shaped eyes, on eastern women. Here is the point. It seems a common thing with the Gaither women. I dont believe it is hormonal, in the main, but over indulging. An observation I have made over many years. Thsts sad, because appearance on stage is part of the deal. Not just the singing. Well, thats an opion, which we're free to hold😮
