Thank you so much for specifying the way to unlock the other main routes!!! I thought you had to beat all the girls routes and I was saving that one for last since people said it was one of the best routes of the first game. Now I can just skip the 2 girls im not interested in and come back later for their routes :)
I first played the Amane route and the flash back scene was so great! i didn´t see something like that coming. I am currently playing the Yumiko route and i like that one as well. The part of the game before you get to the first questions into the routes took me about 20 hours and not every scene was that interesting. But i love the artstyle of the game and the engine that it runs on. Can´t wait to finish the rest of it!
@@neelchaudhary6182 I watched it myself, it was quite interesting, granted the 5 routes were basically given the cliffsnotes adaptation, but I was able to get the basics down
Played the trilogy on my Switch earlier this year and checked out the h-scenes while skipping through to them in the PC version. Personally I think the h-content in the uncensored version is pretty bad. That is if you don't have a pi** fetish or don't crave for some detailed anatomical descriptions of female inner reproduction organs. Seriously, Yuuji should have chosen to be a gynecologist. XD Sadly some of the sexual jokes were also censored, like references to masturbation, blowjobs and many other. Amane's route or rather her backstory has some gruesome depictions/descriptions removed or changed which makes her backstory hit slightly less hard in the Switch version (I think her route was still a rollercoaster of emotions). Overall I LOVED Fruit of Grisaia. It's among my favorite VNs, the heroine routes were quite emotional rollercoasters and each of them made me cry like a little schoolgirl... Of course only manly tears. XD It was such a great move to make you play the after stories after each heroine route as they enhanced each impact dramatically. Also the prologue of Grisaia was amazing, seeing how the girls came to the academy and became friends. I didn't care much about Labyrinth of Grisaia and Eden of Grisaia to be honest. The writing just felt much weaker and leaned too much towards the harem stuff. Oh well, at least it doesn't include the terrible Eden Afterstory where Yuuji fu**s every girl in his little harem and impregnates the most stupid one. XD Oh... Visually the Switch version is the definitive one btw. The PC version runs at 576p, the Switch version is clear and crisp native 1080p. It looks amazing on a big TV screen. And the engine they use is so much better than the old PC version one. I especially loved the way you seamlessly load save games. The UI was also very well done and very intuitive. The only thing I disliked was the non centered text box as well as the lack of the flower design for the main text box the uncensored PC release has.
@abrahamWCE Well, I'm an old school romantic. I like romance and the feels with one girl, so the harem shit doesn't do it for me. That's why I didin't like Labyrinth and Eden of Grisaia at all.
@Mion Shion pretty sure he meant that the pc version has 18+ ero scenarios, while console versions can’t have the risqué scenes. Consoles get the “all-ages” version. So yeah while it is technically censored mainly because it’s on consoles and the ratings board, usually when most of these VN’s get console versions. They’ll usually include New CG’s to compensate. This all being said, VN’s are great to play on handheld systems like the switch, DS,3DS or PSP/Vita, even on mobile devices whether on android or IPhone.
Yeah pretty sure it’s on steam, don’t know if you have to download an uncensored patch for it . You can also jusT look up the h-scenes on maybe the hub, lol. Another comment in here pointed out the scenes are kinda garbage if you are not into p*ssing.
I watched the Anime and I rlly liked it but is the vn very different from the Anime? I have a general idea of the plot but Idk if it's worth getting now that I now the story.
In my opinion while the VN is in general a bit better, the anime does a decent part for everything except the first part of season 1, where it completely butchers Michiru's route. Not only was it rushed in general, it also left out or even changed key aspects of Michiru's character, for example in the scene with Yuuji and the pouch, In the anime it shows the other Michiru as the one who tried to help with the situation, but that and it goes against the VN, at this time the other Michiru was only coming out when Michiru was breaking down, and it's shown the the OG Michiru was really trying really hard to make the people around her happy, taking notes on how to make people happy and everything in her diary. Bacciaccaly her role as defusing situations was kinda cut out from what I could tell. (also skipped one of her big reasons for coming out of the coffin, being she heard the other people crying over her "death") Other than that Sachi, Yumiko and Makina's were kinda rushed as well but at least probably got most of the main points about the characters across(Edit: actually thinking more about it, I can think of a lot of sorta important stuff they missed but I can't get into all of it rn). So if you are interested in any of those characters I'd recommend checking out the 1st VN(Grisaia no Kajitsu), but other than that, it's not needed imo.
I played everything except a few of the side stories and clocked in at 115 hours. It's my most played game on the switch at the moment, although animal crossing is sure to change that
II wanna get into VN, until now I have only played Root Letter: Last Answer, in that game, after completing one time, you can skip almost all content if you want to complete the other routes, is the same here? is the same in all VN?
Most VNs have that feature. You can check in Settings in each game for a skip setting. Sometimes you can change it to be able to skip everything you have or haven’t read as well. But a lot of VNs share the ability to skip read text.
Amane's route being the key is probably due to the fact that a certain somebody is introduced in that route and later on is revealed to be not not alive
