I’ve always looked at Oprah as my spiritual mother or kind of a fairy god mother lol. Every time I’m struggling having faith in myself I think of Oprah and how despite all of her struggles and childhood traumas she has overcome them all and through the power of love and compassion has transcended and transformed her life and the entire world. If she could do it I know it’s possible to overcome anything🙌✨✨✨thank u god for blessing my life with this goddess/queen/hero🙌✨✨✨✨

Oprah is so inspiring and inspirational

I don't idolize her but I sure ADMIRE her!!!

I've been inspired by Oprah since I was a kid. The Oprah show in South Africa aired in the evenings and also happened to be the time my mom would return home. The same time that my mother expected the house to be clean with cooking done or atleast on the stove. I always delayed with the chores because even though I was that young (around 10 years old if not less) I connected and related to her like she somewhat understood me. I would find myself glued to the screen learning and inspired. Gosh I wished I was in her audience all the time and sometimes I would day dream about Oprah interviewing me. In high school, some of my school mates found it fitting to call me Oprah. I don't remember speaking much about Oprah in high school, but what I do know is that all the inspiration I drew from Oprah contributed to making me the inspirational person that I am. Today, I am actively looking for the fearless, courageous, inspirational young girl in me who didn't doubt herself before experiencing life's hurdles through disappointment, failure, heartbreak, disapproval, rejection and descrimination. After experiencing all these however, I started truly defining who I am and discovering just how unconditionally loved I am by God. That understanding came through hard experiences but I have a true identity today and I'm charging confidently ahead. I'm inspired by the consistency and upward growth that Oprah has in her life. She has never reached a plateu or declined, and obviously it's not because she had a smooth ride, and that's just amazing! I am an upcoming philanthropist, difference maker and world changer, and I am going for my destiny by being true to myself and not letting other's doubt become mine. I am Tintswalo Maluleke.

I was in grade 9 when I got a comprehension test in my exam about her story and her life, from her dark and troubled struggling past to where she is now, it was so inspiring

I watched The Oprah Winfrey Show on my CBS affiliate W*USA channel 9 in around 1987, and again on my ABC affiliate WJLA channel 7 in Washington, D.C. (I lived in Maryland) off and on during the late 80’s to early 90’s, my ABC affiliate KSAT 12 in San Antonio/Fort Sam Houston, Texas during the mid 90's to the early 2000's, and on my ABC (and later NBC) affliliate WCBD channel 2 cable 4 in South Carolina off and on during the late 80's, 90's, 2000's and the early 2010s.

I keep praying for the day she runs for President! Why not? She definitely has the ability!!

I dislike people who only find bad things to say about people who had done amazing things, I know I man who was a succesful oil engineer who decided to rescue homeless children living on the streets, he helps those children gives them education, food, a home, so far almost 85.000 children has been rescued by this man, many have become succesful educated persons and you still find people who only say bad things about this man, when I say bad things, I'm talking about stupid things like "He is too bossy and arrogant"
