Good video, so as a long time grounded player I came to clear some things up too, grounded history can get muddy, The custome mode achievments refers to a period in time when you could get achievements in custom mode pretty sure, also the Burg.L ASL fact refers to a time where the ASL did not exist and you had to go to Burg.L to use the science shop and the other things, The devs added the ASL to make it more convinient to the players.
Fun fact there's still a beehive within the current build of grounded. Looking up at the tree while standing near the pond, you can see the old placeholder, non-detailed model.
The mantis pollen attack was not removed for traditional difficulty reasons, it was removed because i absolutely destroyed your game’s performance and frames. The tripwire bombs were in fact removed. The reason for this is because they were terrible and incredibly ineffective. I found this out the hard way around release because i used a tripwire bomb on the wolf spider cave under the plank and on detonation the explosion was both offset and did next to no damage
Mantis VFX had to be toned down because the FPS would totally tank. Lots of early stuff couldn't be implemented due to memory issues on consoles despite us PC GAMERs being able to easily handle it.. I just thought I'd add this fun fact to rage bait console players. Lol.
The burgl ASL terminal entry means that in older versions there were no ASL terminals and you could only buy items, use Milk molars and get quests from burgl. Since the ASL terminal got added you don't have to go to burgl every time you want to spend raw science or get quests, etc...
I think the reason the lizard boss was scrapped was because the lizard would've have red blood. This would've forced the game to increase the age rating so they decided against it.
awesome vid again man these iceberg tiers are like all the secrets of grounded they're so good! wish you uploaded more but quality over quantity is definitely the way to go
