Martha was right, you know. Spencer really did need their help. While Spencer did catch the jewel at first before Eddie stopped him, if he still had to go through the bridge/mandrill level, there's no way he would survive because of him not having Oberon's geometry skill. In addition, it's possible that he would captured like what happened to Eddie and be locked up in a dungeon. Even if it weren't a different adventure and still had to do with the Jaguar Statue, Spencer still would've been screwed. Bravestone doesn't have Seaplane's piloting skill to get passed the canyon. So he would've crashed and lost a life trying to pilot it himself. Even if he did somehow manage it, I think the helicopter was always meant to have that incident in which something is broken so that way those rhinos can chase the helicopter in the canyon. And there's no way he would've gotten passed all of those jaguars and cobras all by himself without everyone else splitting up to cause diversions. There's no way Spencer could've beat Jumanji on his own. Jumanji clearly wants multiple players. Think about it. If you were playing the board game version of Jumanji by yourself and it said "In the jungle you must wait until the dice read five or eight", it's possible you would have been stuck in that game forever with no one ever wanting to play Jumanji to set you free. Just like what the astronaut said in Zathura: There are some games you can't play alone.
