Mad though how Rockstar might have noticed us dropping connection on purpose to get solo lobbies to sell, or they saw us suffering with modders + griefers on socials... the really saved the day, being able to sell/heist prep in 2022+ in peace + quiet is glorious !

Just because he's having a pet project and doesn't pose as himself, doesn't mean, it's a joke. Just like with some heists, he actually helps you make money with your MC business. That's some serious involvement for joking around, or trolling.
I would like to note that IPs being leaked, while extremely dangerous, cannot lead to swatting on its own. IPs only give a very rough location (usually a 100-200 mile radius depending on your city) and is definitely not enough on its own to allow for someone to find where you live exactly. You'd need other information such as names or phone numbers to run through registries to find an exact address to Swat someone.

I used to use a mod menu and it was scarily easy to see the rockstar id and ip address of people, you could even force join anyone's session as long as you know their username
The 37:40 "solo public sessions" before R* made it so you could sell in friends only/private sessions, on console ps3/4 you could do it by just constantly finding new sessions and eventually it would throw you into one by yourself but your friends could join. I like to claim I found it but I probably didn't, I at least found it first in my friend group.

You can still get the epsilon cutscene upon death, it’s only on the accounts first death, i experienced it when I switched to Xbox last year and couldn’t transfer my PlayStation progress, had to start from scratch
At 11:30 the trick to get into a public private lobby is still useful when hackers are messing with you or when you enter a building and get what seems like an endless loading screen
11:19 the resource monitor is still an essential tool on PC as it fixes 99 % of the instances of being stuck in loading screens, sell missions not completing and general weirdness due to modders. Without it, public lobbies are borderline unplayable.

@@Ariffin958 it's not really a glitch. You just pause the game, all your connections time out and are lost and you lose connection. Same thing sometimes just happens regularly. Someone's intetnet goes out, you have a latency spike, etc. It's not really a patchable glitch unless rockstar wants to constantly boot players from the game for having unstable internet.

Sex change is definitely a reference to when there was a glitch that let you use change appearance to change sex. It would fuck with all your owned clothing because the indexes are different, so stuff would change or disappear.

In regards to the Solo Public Sessions, at least for me on PS4, I never actually had to do anything specific and it would just randomly happen while I play lmao
An additional method for creating a solo public session is via playing in windowed mode. One right clicks on the top bar of GTA 5's window--the gameplay will pause while the drop-down menu shows up--waits 10 seconds, then clicks back into the process.
They also had a feature were if you called a helicopter near telephone lines you would wraparound them causing you to crash this was only available when the game first came out later on with a few updates they took it off for some reason which took off the realism out the game

Actually, "sex change" is a glitch in the "Change Appearance" option that actually allows you to change the sex of your character througha hidden "Gender" option. It's also the key to obtaining some forbidden clothing items such as admin shirts.
also the last thing you were talking about cant be fixed because it uses the friend join the menu tells gta that they are your friend and can join trying to fix it would ruin the whole joining system
on a fun note and one to add to the iceberg, since release the amount of time passed in game has been 30 years give or take not accounting for things like daylight savings, leap years and longer months ect ect.

I’m pretty sure the Purple vs Green thing was started by a group of RU-vidrs called “the boys” they did a bunch of videos with green and purple character models duking it out in Gmod and VRChat and it carried over into a massive GTA Online movement XD
I always wondered how police can't locate the person making a fake report but the said person can locate the streamer they want to swat. Almost like internet swatters are more competant than the authorities.
The report system sends a ping through the user that gets reported. That ping can be disabled with a single line of code. Every mod menu just simply has it by default.
I wouldn't consider the solo public session to be a "glitch"- rather it's simply because GTA Online operates using mesh networking. What you're actually doing by suspending your game process is disconnecting yourself from the other players, and it shows up as them leaving your session. All your Online connection is directly from player to player rather than a central server. It's also why modders/cheaters are such an epidemic, since there's no central server to verify the data being sent back and forth.
Ive always wanted a dlc that is more involved with the gangs and crime families like building rep and selling our drugs to them for different bonuses etc Or something that gives us staff that work for us. At this point we own so many businesses, assets and money
