I have the Sawgrass SG800. Can I use the inks that came with it or will I need to buy the Siser inks before trying the EasySubli paper? Also, will you guys be coming out with larger sizes? Like 13"x19"? Love this idea!

What is the cover sheet you are using? It looks like teflon. If not, is the paper one time use only, like it is with regular sublimation?

Wonder how much they spent recreating these ink jet heat transfers? Jet Pro, 3G opaque... Seeing as how they've been in existence forever this not a true game changer. Plus why would I burn $$ on sublimation ink and more custom sheets.

My question is does the box stay around the design after pressing? It looks like crap where the pressed box is outlined. If it doesn't rub away after then I wouldn't want to use this product.

You can still used EasySubli HTV! you just have to perform a two step process. Print you image on your Epson, on Sublimation paper. Then apply it on the EasySubli HTV cut piece.

From my exploration into sublimation, and intensive research, I've discovered that the Sawgrass HD Ink can be used with EasySubli HTV and has a much more vibrant appearance.

The allure of sublimation for my clients is the lack of feeling from shirt and over-design(HTV). It all feels like T-shirt. I can see the benefits in darker colors though. It isn't really sublimation to me though when there are other htv out there. I am really not intending to be critical. I just cant see spending 18 bucks on Amazon just to find out if it works for me.

I love that sublimation cannot be felt on polyester garments. This looks kind of clunky like print and cut htv. Does it feel cheap like Print and cut Neenah paper?

@@nchiwanabyluluhenry5963 its a really great option, the feel is very nice and its very stretchy, but if you want a screen printed look and feel, use Supacolor.

@@nchiwanabyluluhenry5963 It's clunky alright. This stuff is best used for pocket logo sized stuff only or where most of the vinyl has been cut away to leave space on the garment. I thought it was going to be a ' game changer' but nah. Limited in it's use.

the cut image was good, but the mark left by the mask might be unacceptable to some buyers. How do you get round that - can you use less pressure and a cooler platen for longer?

Works great with other sublimation ink. I used a continuous ink system at one time and had the same effect. I love this product!!!!

i don't get a true black, my black is more grey. if i press a mug, i have deep black. my ink is good. an another youtuber has the same "problem." is it not possible to got a real true deep black with the easy subli?

Black, because of the heavy saturation, can be the most difficult to truly attain. You can try the two step process, where you print on sub paper and cut your EasySubli and then apply the two together, you may see a richer black shade.

We have had customer's use an Epson Printer with our EasySubli HTV and have had success. We do not have prompts as to how to do that, but it has worked.

yes! You can bring in a photo in Silhouette Studio and then apply the vector shape of where you want it cut on the Silhouette.

Soni have an issue . My ink is still wet ? I smudged it in the paper . I let it set over night . And when I pressed it The ink bled through.

Does it bleed in to the fabric like sublimation or is the texture similar to inkjet printable HTV? Will it crack?

EasySubli is still a heat transfer vinyl, but it has a texture to it. It will not crack.

What’s the lifespan on the shirt? Does it last longer than HTV ?

If the transfer is properly applied, it will last the lifetime of the garment. The printed image may have a slight variance in vibrancy after roughly 25 washes.

Understandably, but the issue we deal with is that there are a ton of converted sublimation machines. There are also an excessive amount of different kinds of sublimations inks. We unfortunately cannot yield results from every single one of these scenarios.

Siser presented this at NBM Milwaukee and said that Sawgrass will be coming out with special Siser ink, but it's not necessarily required. They said the special ink will give you more vibrant colors.

How long do the images last on the garments without fading or peeling?

You will not have to worry about peeling....and as for washes, we noticed a subtle fading after the 25th wash, but it wasnt overly noticeable.

He doesn’t explain how to do the print instructions, he shows it on his computer only. Doesn’t explain which is mask and which is HTV, he doesn’t give time or temp to use. Just show how to put on heat press. He’s is good at showing how to place items on heat press and removing from heat press. In all not done well at all. After watching this I still didn’t understand how to use this product.

Hopefully you haven't already shelled out for a Sawgrass sub printer...I had one and then switched to an Epson ET4760. You can refill the tanks. No cartridges. Comes out wayyyy cheaper to go this route.🙂 Wishing you the best!!

All of the videos show letting the ink dry for one to two minutes before cutting and applying the Siser mask but the ink does NOT dry that fast! Also, if it’s not completely dry then it won’t stick to the mask. I have wasted so many pieces of Siser easy subli htv and masks. Ugh!

Do you have any tips for why the easibsubli design does not stick to the easisubli mask? I’ve tried it a few times and it wont stick to the mask making the transfer quite a pain. I have the sawgrass 800, using easisubli ink....I’m following the instructions but it wont stick please help! Thank you

The feel is going to be dependent on the size of the design. Also, this will last longer than digital transfer paper.

@@SiserNorthAmerica got it so you pretty much you will get the same feel if you are applying onto dark fabrics for example a full sheet of 8.5 x 11 no way of getting around that whether sublimation or 3g paper?But I do like the durability I’m seeing from sublimation.Thank you for the great lessons.

yes, you can use that.... just make sure you print with the registration marks for your roland to read your cut contour.

You can use the Cricut as well! We will more instructions on that to come. You just have to go through the Cricut software and use the virtuoso print manager.

I feel like there is a lot of information missing. This seems like printable iron on as there is no discussion about the hand, stretchablity and wash life. also, I noticed considerable ghosting on the darker garments from the mask, would that also go away with a washing or with time?

@@SiserNorthAmerica so far I have watched all the Siser videos regarding this product and visited the Siser website on the product page and none of this information has been provided. I get that one video can't cover it all, but these topics seem to be avoided in general. That feels a little off to me. I'm a Siser product fan in general, this just hasn't provided enough information for me (personally) to invest.

You need a Sublimation printer and a vinyl cutter with an optical eye (to read registration marks.)

no, the shiny side if the backing, you are printing on the opposite side....which is why you load it face down.

Why tell people that they can now sublimate on any textile, when this is clearly a printed HTV and not sublimation? And why use sublimation ink, when your other printable HTV works with other inks? Other companies provide inkjet ready heat transfers without special inks. And why use butcher paper when there is a plastic tack sheet in place over the ink?

unfortunately, it is not recommended to change inks one you have your printer charged. You can still use EasySubli HTV, even though you do not use the EasySubli Inks.
