I loved the one with the piggies exploring their new home. I remember my bold pup doing so with the shy one right behind her. I've also watched the Nugget introduction video multiple times.

Great video. The speedy piggies was The Lava Empire, they've been jumping the lava for a long time. I really liked the video that explained animal behavior. Maybe I've watched to many nature shows but that stuff is a no-brainer to me. It's why they typically run single file and if at all possible they stick to the wall or up against a vertical surface or under something. It's for protection, that's why they don't run around in the open unless they feel really safe and secure. Most piggies will scoot around behind things in their cages for similar reasons. I wish more people would take the time to just sit back and actually watch their piggies. Don't touch them, don't talk to them or take pics, just leave them alone and watch them.

On my birthday I woke up to one of my piggies with a hay poke and the vet took a look at her and said there was an ulcer in her eye she gave us a cream to put in her eye and my piggie hated it. It took me forever to gain her trust again, we are all good now except from the fact that the vet told us it would be £92 for a ten minute appointment

7:10 my youngest Lola (1) does NOTHING new/eats nothing new without observing the older ones first. I´m pretty sure if she was alone she would only stay in the hide and at most dart out quickly for food. Luckily Rudi, my eldest (5), is a weirdo and was never scared of anything and it was amazing seeing Lola develop from a painfully shy baby through the influence of my other two. Now she is the one most likely to get zoomies and climbs anything she can reach (I have taken to jokingly call her "mountain goat") It is so terrible that some piggies STILL live alone!

Ohhh ... a barrow full of vegetables! Last night I stopped by the market near my house, and they had STACKS of little trays of pre-packed fresh vegetables on their clearance racks, for roughly one-third off the regular price. Apples, kiwis, oranges and tangerines, lemons and limes, green and yellow and orange and red sweet peppers, banana peppers, big and small hot peppers, zucchinis and courgettes, purple and white eggplants, okras ... I joined a couple that was searching the racks for the perfect veggie deal for their needs, and another lady came along on an okra quest. I felt like we should all be making happy little "wheek-wheek-wheek-wheek-wheek" noises. Then there was some delicious stuffed pepper action for dinner!

I love watching the guinea pig videos. I watch so I don't have to have any myself. I was devastated when one of my cats died after 10.5 years. I got attached to it and he was my bud. I can't imagine having to go through that grief with guinea pigs, since their lifespan is so short. I was even affected by the guinea pigs you lost. I guess I am not much of a man being affected so much by the death of animals. But I guess I am what I am.

My guinea pig had a successful surgery for a blatter stone, a few weeks later he was urinating blood so we had to take him to the vet , turns out he had multiple blatter stones and we had to put him down , this was my weekend, I miss him so much, I didn’t realize how much he affected me until he was gone ❤️🐀

when I first wanted a Guinea Pig I thought that we could just get only one Guinea Pig, super small cage, no veggies, really colorful pellets, and only one serving of hay a day. but thanks to watching your videos I learned that they need two guinea pigs, a super big cage, a endless supply of hay, veggies, you don't need pellets, and also its a lot harder then it looks to own a Guinea Pig. now we got a big c&c cage and were going to get guinea pigs soon. thanks so much for posting these videos!!! Love your channel!!!

i dont own a guinea pig but for the colorful thing: Ive made homemade treats for my hamster (im fully aware they arent the same though) and added fruits and veggies and they can sometimes turn out pretty colorful...but of course they dont have much of a shelf life and i dont think big companies would make quickly expiring treats.

16 babies running around myself. I used to have more, but due to things that couldn't be cured nor fixed, those others are no longer here. I fought for each of them, spending over 10k Canadian in 2021 trying to keep each alive and healthy (these are just vet bills from treating pneumonia, cancer, abscesses etc). I don't have much, but give everything I can for each of them. For breakfast and dinner, I've recently got my prep time down to 10 minutes or so. It used to take at least double that time. I found more efficient ways to prepare things (freshly). Each of my kids are intelligent, expressive, amazing little babies. (I just call them my babies, though their ages are between 16 months and 3 years). They are such a joy

i reamber my first guinea pig vet trip i first gotta guinea pig and her nails need a lot of trimming ofc like all guinea pigs she squirmed a lot and i lost control and accidentally trimmed half her nail off and it started to bleed everywhere i panicked and immediately looked on google what to do and i didn’t have styptic powder so i called my vet immediately brought her in she had a lil cast on her foot for a day and she felt all better now i’m careful when the time comes and i have a partner with me to hold her and we have the powder just in case but to this day i felt really bad for my poor guinea pig 😂😂

My guinea pig had a broken tooth, and we went to the vet to get him checked out. They said he was fine and charged us 200$ 🙃 so expensive for a simple check (He's fully healthy now btw)

@Shadow Mair One guinea pig can leave droppings 100 times a day. 89 of them would mean almost 9000 poops every day! You can't just shake that outside.
