Great video, pleased to see them getting along now 😂 Just remember about warmth during the night and the colder seasons 💛 As my guinea pigs live in a shed and it still gets cold in there so a hutch won't be as good x
@@milliespets7297 Great idea, I think they're fine for summer just during cold nights make sure that everything is topped full of hay. Also they aren't the biggest so make sure you get them on the grass as much as possible 💛💛 Think you should build or buy a run for the grass instead of that tiny bar thing x
I need a run but I don’t no witch one the bar thing is off there indoor cage witch I hate but I only put them in there when I am there incase the cat comes xxxx if it get to cold I put loads of hay in xx
@@milliespets7297 www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pets/rose-rabbit-run. The only problem is how expensive they are. It's way cheapes housing animals inside because hutches sheds runs are soooooo expensive
Oh you are awesome! My house would be a zoo if i could make it that way! So adorable! New to your channel and showed full support to you! I am excited to watch more of your videos! Have an amazing week!
For those ppl that have wooden hutches a small tip that makes a big difference. I have lined my hutches with Corflute. It is non porous so easy to clean and disinfect. Stops the wooden floors from being drenched in pee and poops.
I feel a few things need to improve. 1 they need a bigger run to play in on the grass 2 shaving are bad for piggies I also noticed u have them for the rabbit which is bad as well 3 u can use a 50/50 water and vinegar to clean with just a suggestion. :-) more natural I feel u need to do a bit more research on housing because the rabbit cage on the other video is way way 2 small
Tyler :-D I don’t no what to do about the bedding because if I put fleece down puzzle eats it and I on,y but them on the grass because I was cleaning that’s for the advice xxx I use vinegar and water for the indoor cage x
@@milliespets7297 this is good bedding it's cheaper at other shop pets at home is the most expensive place but it's the best bedding ever not even joking it's adsorbent and it's just a really good safe bedding it's cheaper on amazon or fetch. Com
Hey great video don’t listen to any others saying your housing for your guinea pigs is bad as long as they have a run aswell a couple of hrs a day their fine xx
Rosie Smiths right okay but this is much better than a pet store cage and you have to agree with me on that my guinea pigs have this and a shed but it doesn’t matter how big or small the housing is as long as they have a space to run around in the day agreed? To me personally I find these sort of hutches to be fine when they go to sleep or if you go out in the day and don’t want a cat to get them if she gives them 4 hrs of playtime on the grass they will be happy pigs
I have that huch for ONE gunia pig the spoils thing 😅(I have more but they all don't get along with it, I'm getting a new one next week to try get it a friend)
My guinea pigs are kept in a c&c pen so it is flat and the bedding is snowflake shaving they are dust free I make sure to put at least 3 inches of shaving in and spray a mist of water over before putting pigs back in a thick bed is important to prevent foot problems like bumble foot
My Guinea pigs have the same hutch, wooden tunnel, woodsaving, Hay and pellets as you, the only thing is 5hwt is different is mine are both girls and their hutch is outside but in a shed, at the moment because eit is winter they aren't going out as often so I pick them grass and bring it to them in their pets at home bluebell hideaway hutch
Guinea pigs aren't ment to be kept in theses hutches there for rabbits they can't judge height do could fall off ramp and injure there legs you need a large flat area for them to live c&c pen of Amazon you build them yourself take a look and research it all so go and watch la Guinea pig rescue Saskia on u tube she amazing
I'm thinking of getting this Hutch and when I looked at it, the wire was flimsy and easy to break? I was wanting to have it outside but I'm scared that a fox will get in. I also think that a fox would break through a cage cover plz reply
Hi i have 4 piggies of my own just a few tips .ur pigs should be eating half - to their full weight in hay a day .they should have two leafy greens a day such as lettuce kale cabbage and others grass does not count also the should have one root vegetable such as radish cucumber fennel and others carrot shouldn’t be given any more than twice a week .they should have 1/5 of a cup of pellets everyday .also mcdonalds veg isnt very good cus its covered in chemicals .forage such as dandelions grass dandelion leaves sticky weed and more should be given at least 1 or 2 a week . NO HATE just tips
When he’s in the house he puts weight on bc every time u open the fridge he squeaks so we have to Feed other wise he won’t stop 🛑 but other than that they like them on the house x
So love how big the cage is its the perfect size for them I can see u care about them however keeping rabbits or Guinea pigs outside in hutches isn't suitable I don't agree with it and from experience can say it's not a good idea
@@arianaeden2041 I don't have any at the moment but have owned piggies they lived inside as the exotic vet told me so I'm definitely going to listen to the man with 20 years of experience with Guinea pigs
Hutches are not meant to house piggies or rabbits they were designed for meat rabbits not pet rabbits so that is not the correct housing for them u really need to do up to date research because that isn't suitable
@@milliespets7297 they shouldn't live in a hutch. If inside I would recommend c and c cages if outside they need must live in a shed sheds aren't even that much. And they last way longer than a hutch
Thanks for the advice I asked my Mam for a sheaf but she said the garden is to small witch it is xx thanks for the advice I hope u stay on my channel to give more advice xxx
