Great job! My only suggestion would be to remember placement of people better. The Mom yelled from one direction, and the boy ran the opposite direction.
I think I have to do this story for my second assignment but anyway, the beginning took me a bit to try and understand since i'm still learning asl in 2nd level but after a while I started to understand what was going and even laughed at times. You were really great and this video makes excited for when I do the assignment x)
ashley85ification I agree about the placement of people ... it throws me off because Signing Naturally does the exact same thing! And I don't understand if it's on purpose or not!
thanks Aileh! It takes a lot of acting and being able to put yourself into the character, understand what they feel and what they are thinking. Don't be afraid to exaggerate your expressions if you need to :) and don't be afraid if you feel like you look silly doing it! If you are still having a hard time, maybe do some facial exercises to help loosen up your facial muscles and eyebrows so you can move them! hehe
Thanks! The directions the mom yelled to and the boy running is correct, however it did make it confusing that i pointed to the boy's right ear when it should have been his left ear. The mom was calling from the house that was to the left of him and so the role shift was from the left looking right to the boy. The boy then turned and ran towards his left. Thanks for noticing the ear point though!
Anny you did a great job! I am working on this today and struggling a bit directionally. I need my brain to switch! so I am not so confused. Appreciate you posting yours.
