Before sending him the game file i deleted all of my planes after seeing that the only thing matters is numbers and i dont have the numbers and i rather have the mp on the army because i was at around %97 capping germany before getting pushed back aka. this starting position. I started the war because when i was at war with yugo, yugo joined allies and italy/germany was at war with the allies so i joined axis capped the british and the americans but couldnt get the croatian coast tile ''Dalmatia'' due to italians having claim there and getting it cheaper which forbid me from clicking the decision to get cores on stuff. If you have any questions im more than welcome to answer.

building up supply hubs and railways in China would've been a great use of Industy in this game

if you're in a situation like this where your enemy has both superior industry and superior manpower a good strategy might be to build a defensive army - focused on infantry and artillery then declare war on the enemy and just dig in and hold ai will recognise its superiority and attack but if you can just hold them off you'll trade really favourably meaning eventually you'll just grind enemy down to your level so this player did do some things right in my opinion

18:28... i love how most people underrate grand battle plan... with a "through planner" field marshall you can get 80% planning bonus which means insane stats... i do get why superior is better in this case, but if you are doing like a roach playthrough where you have to slowly take tiles one by one, please go grand battle plan its so much better for roaching... well done saving this one Bitter, it takes a lot of patience

18:00 I’m not sure if you know this, but you can look at the logistics tab of any puppet or nation in your faction. It’s on the bottom right of the diplomacy tab shown on screen. This way you can see exactly what they lack if you want to lend lease to them.

I do prefer 20 [or 21 if I can afford the extra artillery] width infantry divs, but use 18 for mountaineers, and 30 for armored. Support companies, I always go with engineers for all, like-speed recon for all, arty for infantry, or all if I can afford it. I used to use signal companies for motorized and armored, but I'm not sure they make much of a difference compared to the equipment costs. Now I try to use maintenance companies for equipment losses. Somehow I always end up with -150,000+ infantry equipment during a certain german operation that youtube doesn't like me talking about, even when I had 250,000+ equipment stockpiled at the beginning. Gotta love battle-planning 😒

Did they patch the sudetenland demand between Hungary and germany? it doesn't work any more for me. When you would use a spy to see when Germany does the sudetenland focus, you would also do the Czech align focus. Germany automatically gets sudetenland now for me. bummer

Going to have to disagree with the two battalion artillery being a waste for small nations. Unless you're already thighs deep into a deficit, that's a basic frontline unit. People really overestimate how many factories you need on guns. Ten factories max unless you're massive nation like the US, Soviet Union, Germany, or the Chinese. The thing is as a smaller nation you REALLY need more bang for your manpower buck. You cannot afford to take massive losses, and having mostly infantry causes you to take far more losses than you'll inflict on the enemy, even if it's technically better at holding. If you're a major nation then you're making 30 or 40 width infantry divisions anyways, because you have the manpower and industry to support the greater width. That's on top of your armored divisions. And you'll have at least double the artillery a 20 width would have. Your extra factories as a major don't go into making artillery, they go into making armored divisions. That is the thing you can't afford as smaller countries. Furthermore, a fully armed and operational Austria-Hungary isn't a small nation to begin with. If they're lacking industry, they did something wrong industrially. They should have plenty of factories to produce what they need, given that they can grab Czechoslovakia.

2 arty is not too expensive for a frontline unit. Especially not for AUH as fuel is not a thing and considering 600k guns stockpile its a matter of bad industry micro not lack thereof
