A Hague case was filed and decided in the U.S.: habitual residence of the children is in the U.S. The children are in a different country which is not abiding by the U.S. court ruling. Lawyer's words: “the judgment of this honorable court digresses from the settled law and the professional interpretation, as well as the obligation of [country name] as a signatory to the Hague Convention, to implement it and sets a precedent that will empty the Hague Convention of any of its purpose”. What happens if a signatory state to the Hague Convention does not abide by it? Thank you

Jurisdiction should not be considered when child abuse is the reason for escaping to protect a child from further harm. Returning the child to an abuser is criminal. Why does it matter where a child lived if the child was being abused ? The petitioner should have to defend themselves against proof or accusations of abuse !

Wrongful removal - the mother was thrown out into the street by the father how do you deal with that and exposed to street violence because of wanting a divorce!
